Romantic Tropical Retreat with Sunset & Rice Field Views

We were greeted by Saidi who was exceptional even before we arrived. He made sure we landed safely in Langkawi and was the perfect host! Extremely friendly and one of the warmest people we have met in Malaysia. He was kind to drive us to the grocers on our first day, and made some great suggestion of beaches, restaurants and night markets for us to visit. He even rented a scooter for us to use across our 3 days at an extremely reasonable price! Everything we needed, he was there to help us and make us feel comfortable. We stayed at the very top villa which was wonderfully maintained and ready with all essentials. Attention to detail was very much noticed :) and the scenery and environment was perfectly relaxing. If you want to be amongst nature, this is the perfect stay! We spent evenings and mornings bird and monkey watching! The Sunsets were gorgeous and we were able to get to Kuah, night markets and airport in a short space of time, with Grab taxi easily accessible and regular! Thank you Saidi and Alamanda Villas <3

The villa was unique and well equipped. We stayed in the smallest property and loved the character and wooden features, especially the lovely verandah, which was big enough for 2, space for drying clothes on the rack, eating and rocking to and fro on the hammock. The fan on the verandah kept us cool and deterred the insects. The bathroom was a wet room and the kitchen functional. The main room had a comfortable bed with a mosquito net. Every room had lots of windows on all sides, giving a lovely through breeze. The windows have beautiful views and wooden shutters to block out the light when necessary. The nearby road wasn't busy and road noise wasn't a problem for us. Infact we enjoyed watching people passing by. The fabulous infinity pool was a. very short walk away. Free filtered water, tea, coffe and biscuits were available next to the pool and we liked the sunbeds under the shade of the pergola. Eddie, the manager, was very pleasant and helpful, always available to offer advice

Great wooden villas inside the forest. Very quiet and calm, nature was amazing. You can see the monkeys around. The view from the pool at dawn was just breathtaking. Eddi was just great, very helpful. Definitely recommend to tourists who wants to an escape from the city

The villa felt like a private jungle paradise. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Eddy, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, truly outstanding service! Taxis were also very easy to get, which made getting around super convenient. And don’t even get me started on the pool, absolute perfection. Crystal clear, the perfect temperature, peaceful, and surrounded by nature.

Honestly, nothing. Everything met or exceeded expectations.

Th villa was smaller than our expectation. The photos didn’t mention which one we are getting.

Pool was very nice. Set up for mosquitoes, but didn't see any. Kitchen had hot plate,microwave, fridge, kettle, dishes etc. Sufficient for few days stay. Many monkeys on the property, but they didn't bother us. We had villa near the road, very nice inside, with a porch. Bed comfortable and lots of storage in room. Need car to access property.

A lovely little traditional house surrounded by stunning gardens. Air con worked well and all amenities were good. I’d recommend bringing some earplugs as is close to the road but this was no issue for us. ‘Grab’ taxi service using the app was an ideal mode of transport, for those that would rather not drive/bike. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride. Pool area was just bliss! Most evening we asked where we should eat out and thanks to suggestions had some of our best meals! Thanks for all the tips!!
