host was good and welcoming. house was quite darkly lit and she brought lamps from her place which helped brighten up the place abit. love the quaint looking housing area. sadly you'll need to alert them earlier if you'd like to use the hot tub outside as it need hours to prepare. Wish we'd known that earlier. the reason we chose this place was because of the hot tub but was unable to enjoy it. house is near petrol station and grocer

Friendly welcome from Kristen on arrival made us feel at home. The house is spacious and well equipped. We wish we could have stayed longer in this lovely house. There were historical artefacts in every room making you feel like you'd stepped back in time. But the facilities were fully modern and it was a very comfortable stay. Would certainly recommend booking this house!

This is a lovely antique farmhouse, owned by the people living in the farmhouse facing it. The family has renovated in a way to honor the vintage elements of the architecture, but I’ve also done their best to make it more modern and comfortable. The kitchen in particular is a very very nice space, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and usable, although may be because we are American so we would have preferred larger towels! In any case probably the greatest inconvenience is that there is no toilet on the ground floor where you spend a lot of your time. The property itself is quite beautiful as is the surrounding area.
