Casa Caboz

Lovelly appartement with beautifull garden, we spend here two weeks with our 2-year old son and enjoyed it very much. Lovely hosts which are always available to help you with anything. From this location you can reach (almost?) every other spot on the island within 1 hour by car.

Most pleasant hosts, very friendly. Spot to park your rental car at the premise, besides the house/appartment. Great view at the hills and sea, looking south-wards. Quite spacious for two persons. Nice garden, which you have for yourself. Welcome fruit, eggs and a bottle of wine In the kitchen plenty of pans etc are available, as well as glasses for thee, wine, etc. Refrigerator available. There is also washing machine (which we did not use). A modest bakery/mini supermarkt is at a 10 minutes walk. Upon arrival the hosts (as said who live upstairs) hand over the key of the accommodation.

The location is the ground floor of a house in which the owners live upstairs. At the quiet moments (evening/morning) you hear the sound/talking of them, though it is not really loud. But keep this in mind. There are two normal and two large towels available, though they are not changed over the week automatically. (when you ask for it they might do) The hot water is more warm than it is hot. The sink in the bathroom is not running well, and the shower is just so-so. All in all my recommendation would be to modernise the bathroom. Also the water tap in the kitchen needs modernisation. It works, but is just a bit clumsy. The front of the house lays at some sort of main road, especially when trucks pass by you will hear this when sitting in the garden. The matras (one piece) on the bed is a bit soft.

The house is very spacious. The garden is beautiful and it's the perfect spot for morning cafe and evening meal. You can see the ocean. It was very clean when we arrived. The surrounding is very quiet.

There are at least five cats trying to get into the house every morning and later on. It was very irritating as the doors need to be closed all the time. You couldn't leave any food outside on the table without supervision. With a big car private parking is very demanding as the path is very narrow and you need to reverse the car up a steep hill with no visibility on the road.
