Santa Cruz Ocean View Villa

The location of the property is great, we liked the lounge overlooking the sea, and the open-plan layout on the first floor. When we arrived the window of the dining room overlooking the courtyard was wide open, and it has been really difficult to close. We tried to use a chair in the dining room, and the leg of the chair completely came off. Ee noticed that all of the dining chairs were quite flimsy, so we decided not to use them at all. There is also the smell of dampness in the kitchen and in all the bedroom cupboards, so it was impossible to hang our clothes. Perhaps these issues have to be addressed. Apart from that, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

In the living room there was a stove/fire place, the smoke of which completely soaked into the walls and furniture, and ventilation could not solve the situation either. Our clothes soaked with smoke immediately also. Cold place, dog fur everywhere and there was some electric heaters but only 1 or 2 worked which not able to compensate the heat loss for 180 m2. we have sat in cloak during our stay and left the villa one day earlier and booked an another hotel. Lot of usefull things missing which could turning the the simple villa into a home feeling house. It was a completly disappointment trip.

Amazing views from the living room, main bedroom and outdoor area, well equipped and very comfortable. Great communication with the host. We came in the winter and the value for money was exceptional. There's a lovely walk along the cliffs which is easily accessed from the house

The markings on the cooker have been rubbed off - we still managed to work out how to use it but it could be helpful if there was something to explain it to guests.

The view is amazing. Easy access to the beach. There is everything necessary for a short or long stay. The host is really helpful.

We liked our stay very much. The spacious apartments with a wonderful seaview. The endless deserted beaches for walks. We found all necessary facilities inside.

Some furniture is a little bit tired may be cause of the ocean humidity. Cupboards and storerooms need more care, somewhere they are not very clean.

This is a great house. Very spacious for 6 people. Nice open space ground floor with dining and living room areas with awesome views of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach. The village of Santa Cruz nearby is a lovely place.
