Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v

the beds and quilts were comfy. the kitchen had good equipment. its cosy.

the location was abit confusing. there are two places on google maps for "Slow Travel Myvatn", we actually went to the wrong location before. The coordinates sent to us were not directly paste-able on google maps as well. value-wise, this place was the most expensive stay for us in iceland, hence less in value for me.

The place is charming and we loved the decorations and the write ups and all the little special touches. It is conveniently located to all that we wanted to see and do.

Everything was good.

Many interesting items in the house. Very good location to visit and the area. We received more good suggestions from the owners. Also you can buy homemade jem and bread from the owner that are very good

It is very warm and comfortable just like to stay at home.

It would be better if there are curtains in front of the front door and bedroom(on the road side window)

Such a lovely and cozy place with so much love and passion. Perfect place to explore Myvatn and surrounding.

Very nice accommodation with lots of personal touches and a wealth of information about local history

It is a lovely little house, very cosy. There is a very nice feeling about it. The living room is large and the kitchen is well equipped. We cooked for dinner and e had everything we needed. Beds are very comfy and blinds block efficiently the light during the white nights. Communication with the host was excellent.

No soap or shampoo in the shower

Very cozy house. With great information about Icelandic way of living, culture… And the best home made traditionally and freshly baked ryebread.
