Villa Ayla Paradise

The property well situated by the river. Dalyan is lovely and this was not our first visit.

The villa is tired and not very well maintained. The property was not cleaned during the stay and there were no changes of towels or linens.

It was in a lovely location by the riverside. The villa was spacious and perfect for our party of 3. Bedrooms were comfortable and roomy the bathrooms were modern and had a great shower. The communal lounge area was lovely with comfortable sofas and armchairs and a wide screen TV.

It was in need of a refurbishment and updating. We had to ask for fresh towels and didn’t initially have bath mats. The facilities and amenities were quite basic, no tea towels or cleaning cloths, no brush and or map, no table and chairs to sit outside, no wine glasses, chipped crockery, no life belt. The communal pool was lovely but of the 8 sunbeds only 3 weren’t broken. The villa pool was a good size but to get to the sunbeds on the far side you had to carry towels above your head! The safe was farcical as it wasn’t attached to the wall so you could pick it up and walk out with it!

Location by the river, 15 minutes walk into Dalyan centre. Clean villa and pool on arrival.

All sunbeds at the main pool were broken. Plunge pool gradually got murky during stay. No cleaning or towel change during our 8 night stay.

The villa was exceptable

When it went dark there were no lights outside of villa until later which made coming back for dinner difficult for my elderly parents as you could not see. We weren’t met on arrival at all and found it difficult to find anyone the keys were in our doors nobody told us how to turn the electric on until we found some one 3hrs later to show us. More attention to greeting guests needed

The private pool was not clean, the outside spaces near the cars was full of trash. One of the A/C was very pushy and noisy. No new towels in a week ! Nothing to hang your cloches in the bathroom.

The property is in need of a deep clean and general TLC. This is such a pity as it has great potential. Small things such as towel hooks, pegs and toilet roll holders are missing. When we arrived at the property the sliding mosquito screen over the kitchen door was on the floor by the pool and there was a large urine stain on the porcelain shelf at the back of the toilet seat. We were prepared to use the bins in the bathroom for soiled toilet paper and to empty these daily, but replacement bin liners were not provided which made the whole operation unhygienic.

Fab location ,by the river . Nice flat walk into town passing restaurants along the river . Great shared pool ,never busy . Once cleaned great private pool ,well screened and not overlooked .lovely view of mountain and blue sky ! Well maintained grounds very pretty esp at night . Lovely staff .

Minor things doesn’t detract from enjoyment .Limited equipment eg no bottle opener ,bread knife .nothing to sweep floors with . Some minor maintenance issues (broken insect screen and ants coming in cracks in sealant) Hard pillows . Pool wasn’t clean on arrival took 4 days :was then perfect . One towel each was a bit tight for two week stay .

Lovely inside, very quiet and staff amazing.

The pool water was very cloudy & not as clean as it could have been, broken tiles in the pool & weeds growing at the back of the pool area.
