Areia Villa - Signature by Paradise Portugal

Comfortable, modern, very spacious, well equipped. Short walk to beach. Lift from basement garage useful for loading/unloading. Great for a large family group - pool table and table football (though hot tub really only for two.)

Sea view limited (only really from roof terrace). Pool area is overlooked and some noise from adjoining properties - most seem to be holiday lets for larger groups.

The villa had everything you needed and more.

Fantastisch huis met alles erop en eraan. Zeer schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne BBQ en zelfs een lift in het huis! De garage met pooltafel en tafelvoetbalspel was ideaal voor de pubers in ons gezelschap. De host was vriendelijk en bij aankomst stonden er 2 flessen locale wijn voor ons klaar. Aanrader om een wijnproeverij te boeken bij deze kleinschalige locale wijnboer. We hebben enorm genoten van onze tijd in Ribamar.

Eigenlijk geen klachten, maar als ik dan toch iets moet noemen dan is het de jacuzzi. Na een heerlijke tijd in de jacuzzi zijn alle zwembroeken verkleurd (gele vlekken of zelfs geheel ontkleurd). Misschien iets teveel chemicalien in de jacuzzi?

The property was neat and it had everything a family would need on a holiday. It had a lift within the property which was exceptional especially if you have a family member that might have mobility problems. 5 bedrooms with 3 en suite was great. Overall excellent property.

Nothing. If you ask me what the Landlords can add to make it even more exceptional . On the basement in the car park, they had a small Pool table which is great but an Exercise bike would be an excellent addition.

Space, pool, style

The Villa was very clean and spacious just as the pictures show. There are 5 double bedrooms, 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor all with ensuite bathrooms, 2 further bedrooms are found on the basement floor with 1 shared bathroom, all with towels and hairdryers. There is aircon in all rooms. There is heated pool with lounges and towels enough for 10 people. There is an outdoor toilet and shower area by the pool. The Villa is located in small town and the beach is located within walking distance. There are also some restaurants within walking distance, however, a car is advised to get food supplies.

There are few negatives, which if sorted would make the villa even better! The Jacuzzi is nice addition and is located on the roof terrace, however it can only fit 2 people, so it’s bit small for a 10 person Villa. The seating area on the roof terrace is only for 4 people and is not well maintained. As previously mentioned in another review, the darts are unusable, there is no point having a dart board with inadequate darts. There is no dining table near the outside bbq area so have carry food upstairs. Main bedroom has dressing table with no mirror. The sun loungers were not cleaned on arrival. Other negatives, there is building work around the Villa so the Seaview is not quite the same as in the pictures. Some windows/doors in bathrooms open fully and have quite a drop if small child could open
