Beautiful spacious house in a great location with amazing views of the sea and of Mount Pico. The house was well kitted out with everything we needed and the welcome basket of local products was much appreciated. The owner was very helpful and communicative and we'd recommend staying here.

Sensational view over the ocean, great location away from very touristy areas but close enough to acces the best restaurants in Lajes in notime by car. Lot of space in the house, many towels, shower gel and shampoo provided Nice welcome package with local produce

Kind of old interior, yet still very functional except some cabinet doors. no flynet for the terrace doors, so the number of windows to be opened during the night was very limited Pillows for the terrace would have been nice

An authentic house with beatiful view to the ocean. The house is big with nice balcony with view to the sea. However, we were very surprised that the house doent have an air-conditioning at all.. There were 2 old fans who made noise and were'nt strong enought. The owners brought us another fan but at night we were too hot, it was noisy with the fans and not comfortable. There wasn't any window in the room and to sleep with the door open to the balcony wasnt an option.. not safe and bugs and other animals could have come in. In addition the furnitures are old and even some of them are broken. The tap in the kitchen is broken. The owner was nice, leave us a busket with bread, cheese, bananas and brought us adittional fan. Unfortunately, the absent of air conditioning (we didnt see it was mentioned in the descriptions or in the other reviews) spoiled our experience of staying at the house.

No air conditioning Old and broken furnitures including the tap in the kitchen. 20 minutes al least drive to the closest village.

Host was extremely easy to communicate with. Super friendly and eager to please. The house is spacious and the property is beautiful !!! The welcome basket was beyond expectations and enjoyed throughout our stay. Everything was delightful and attention to detail was evident. Excellent location from which to explore Pico. There were many amenities for guests ranging from toothbrushes to extra towels. Everything had been thought of. We loved our stay and are dreaming of returning.

The only drawback was intermittent noise from traffic but we became accustomed to it quickly. Also, it would have been nice to have cushions to enjoy the outdoor chaise lounge chairs.

A most beautiful view and well appointed home.

Amazing, we had a whole house for ourselves! There was a piano and a washing machine. We felt at home instantly. Internet was working in every room.
