Elegant Villa | Pool • Fun Game Room • Close to Disney

This is our second vacation at this villa. A year ago, we had a great family vacation in this villa, swam in the pool, visited parks, so without hesitation we booked this year too. However, all the good things remain only in memories. Definitely a good location, close to all the parks, but this year the villa looks completely unkempt.

From the first minute of our stay, we were faced with the fact that the front door was wide open; upon entering, the area looked abandoned with uncut grass and dry leaves lying everywhere. The swing door leading to the backyard was warped and could not be locked. We couldn't feel safe. The interior of the villa does not correspond to the pictures on the website; everything looks rather sloppy and shabby. In the master bedroom there is a terribly uncomfortable mattress; in the guest bedroom the curtain rod is only held on one side, which is completely unsafe with children. Well, the most important thing we encountered was a dirty pool with stagnant water and lack of circulation, which cannot be used according to all sanitation and hygiene standards. We immediately contacted the management company, and the next day they allegedly came to clean the pool in our absence. But this did not affect the result in any way, since the pump needed repair, and the pool needed water replacement and disinfection. The management company promised every day to correct the situation and then stopped responding to messages altogether. Our vacation was ruined. Unfortunately, Booking also left the situation unresolved after our appeal. I consider this a scam because vacationers before us had already faced a similar situation and the management company had to notify us of the changed booking conditions in the absence of a pool, which of course was not worth the money that was paid for a villa with a pool.

There were a few things I didn't like and I called you a few times and spoke to several of your agents who did their best to assist to no prevail as far as contacting Sweet Vacation Rentals. Booking.com understood our concerns and frustration. Our entire stay the back patio door was broke and we had to do a make shift by putting a wood board and a chopping board so no one could break in at night. Grass wasn't cut. I called Sweet Vacation Rentals I emailed, texts and sent pictures of what we had to do and they stated that they were sending a handy man. I got a text on Sunday 4/28 stating that the handy man did come and do the necessary repairs on 4/26 in the afternoon. That's nice for next renters because my stay was from 4/22 - 4/26 in which we had to be out by 10am. So we stayed the entire stay like this. Also the pump for the pool was not working nor the coffee maker. We went shopping to buy all the necessary items to have coffee in the morning only to have to go buy a Joe box at Duncan Donuts. I've been trying to contact Sweet Vacation Rentals to see if they can try to rectify this situation and for our inconvenience by providing us with some sort of partial refund or we'll even take a percentage off a future stay just at another residence. Sweet Vacation Rentals needs to check their properties completely and assure items are working appropriately and grass is cut before they rent it out to people. I would appreciate if there was something you can do on your end as far as accommodations but I do understand if it's not fully your responsibility but you do represent them. This by no means that I blame you and I have always used Booking.com whether for hotel stays or flights and have never had a bad experience in the past but I would greatly appreciate if you could encourage Sweet Vacations Rentals to make this right Thank you in advance. The property is in very good condition from inside, furniture in good state and kitchen very functional.

Garden was not too great and lack of electro at the kitchen such as grill.

Every thing was bad, furniture are if worst quality and worn out carpet worn out with alot of dirt Communication with host was awful and kind of funny how they are responding and they can’t speak english and the response was zero. Alot of complaints alot of missing house essential items like vacuum cleaner and trash cans in every time you complained that say you did not report any missing items i have spent 20 days in the house and i have reported more than 10 times and every time i called they say send screenshots of the message it’s kind of funny. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY SWEET VACATION IN FLORIDA

Nicely decorated and spacious Villa, with a good size pool. Good air conditioning throughout the villa.

Some of the tv remotes did not have batteries and the Batteries in the door lock ran out and almost locked us out. There was a minor problem with ants in the kitchen.

The villa was very spacious for us,, the beds were comfortable and so the pillows. Everything required for staying in a villa away from home. A quiet, handy area easy to reach the 192 and all eaterys and shops etc. Pool was good size and south facing. Kitchen well equipped Great villa

There was a couple of small issues on arrival that we thought needed reporting to the management, as the returnable deposit was quite high, we didn't want them to think we had been responsible and they offered to sort 1 out ASAP but it didn't affect our stay so told them to leave it. On our returning home we received messages to say the cleaning team had found curtains and rail on the floor with marks down the wall. No way was this correct as we checked twice everywhere to make sure we had left nothing. This kind of behaviour spoiled the holiday for us as our deposit was now in dispute which I found shocking. Was it a ploy or a genuine mistake on the management side who knows but I was pleased we reported the earlier issues which strenghthed our case to get out $399 refundable deposit returned which we did but the extra stress was not necessary.
