Villa Lux

Great location at the exterior of town (so 5 minutes drive partly on a bumpy potholed road to get into town), away from all of noise and construction. Lovely view of the mountains. Very clean. Nice to have some provisions already in the kitchen (salt and pepper, oil…) The two bedrooms were a good size. Nice to have a picnic table to eat outside. My daughter “tamed” a chicken that kept come around - Say hi to Angelique if you see her come round begging for bits of food!

The kitchen was way too small for the size of the cabin. There is only one giant casserole (which doesn’t fit in the sink) and one pan. No spatula and few other utensils. Difficult to cook much. The bathroom is also very small and the shower leaked continuously onto the floor while in use. I think the drain had not been emptied of hair for some time. The beds linens were horrible. Very old and scratchy and the beds were covered only in flat sheets (not fitted sheets) too small for the bed. So we would wake up constantly in the night, the flat sheet having moved, to find ourselves sleeping directly on the (somewhat marked) mattress. Pretty gross and so easy to fix with the right sheet and size!! The ground floor layout could have been optimized. On our last day we came back at the end of a day of hiking to no water! The manager said it would not be reestablished before the following morning (all it took was 30seconds to flip a switch at the neighbours house…). So no shower after hiking. Pretty gross. She brought us some water bottles to drink and wash up cooking with. But no offer of compensation or other.

- Nice and quiet location just outside the center of Zabljak (close enough to get to a restaurant or shop, but far enough to avoid the crowds) - Barbecue facilities on the terrace - Good communication with the host

- Bathroom could use an upgrade, as some stuff was very poorly finished or starting to fall apart - Smell of smoke from the stove in the living room - The living area downstairs can be a bit tight. It's not really an issue, but just be prepared so you don't expect a ballroom :-)

Great view over the small city, great looking house, lot of space. Would recomend and come again

Kitchen was a bit small so not great for cooking big meals in but perfect for putting together something simple

Everything was perfect Perfect house. Large space. Excellent kitchen. The owner is very kind. We called him several times a day for help. Close to the city . Clean. Warm. Comfortable. We are delighted and will come back again for sure

The property is great and located in a perfect location. The host is very helpful, kind and welcoming. Amazing experience!
