Villa Casa Blanca del Faro

This house is amazing, we had the best time! It's a mostly outdoor house, with each bedroom being almost its own apartment. There is a small well equipped kitchen, and an outdoor living room with a big couch. There are comfortable chairs and sun loungers, and the swimming pool is very nice. The cleaning staff comes every day (there's a timeframe you can agree on), and the host is very easily reachable for any questions or problems. The house is about 15 min walk from the nearest beach/restaurants area, but the walk is through the mountain. We did it with flip flops, it's not too difficult, but coming back at night its very dark. Having said that, taxis are cheap and available. The host shared a lot of information with us, such as taxi numbers, and delivery drivers that can deliver cooked food, groceries, medicines, pretty much anything from the shops/restaurants. We had a great stay, and would highly recommend this place.

The payment system involves an international transfer to Mexico, this was difficult on my side, and I had to try several times. The host was attentive and helpful to this.

The road to the house was very tricky and definitely you need transportation if you want to wander around, although there are cabs it is better to rent your own vehicle

Zipolite and Puerto Angel are a very small towns; "Villa Casa Blanca del Faro" is basically located between these two towns, which make it great. Is on short distance walks to the first beach "Play Amor" and to get to adoquin (like the little downtown) in Zipolite is more like 30-40 minutes but be aware that the heat might make it harder and will be better to calla taxi or walk down the road to get the pick up truck that locals use or rent an scotter. The views that Villa Casa Blanca del Faro gives are incredible, sunrises and sunset are spectacular, the open living room is perfect for gatherings, the outside shower in one of the rooms ads an unique experience with nice view. During our visit we were lucky to see whales and shooting stars. On top of all of; the property is well kept and clean, the host Ana is always on top of anything and the personal that takes care of the property Juan and Maria are so helpful and kind. I cant write enough on how my group and myself enjoyed our stay here. Only thing to keep on mind, is a very small town and if you are relaying on cabs or public transportation you might get a cab very quick or sometimes wait a little longer. Cabs stop finish working around 10-11 and if you need a ride from town after visiting bars or restaurants might take longer. Once you get one cab, the drivers will share their phone number so you can make arrangements directly with them (just as a tip.) I read some comments about the distance walk and the dirty road but tbh is not bad at all, the dirty road part is like less than 3 minutes walk, and the walk all the way down to the main road has scenic views, so enjoy it! Its part of the charm is Mexico (grab a bottle of water or a beer and enjoy.)
