Our gas for braai ranout in the middle of The stove gas on the other side was finished The fact no visitor is allowed, even during the day is too restrictive and a turn off.

Power outage for 24 hours on day2 Over the top security to enter or exit. Inconsistent, uncompromising and inefficient security checks. Severe waste of time at checkpoints. Invertor battery heated, emitted sulphuric acid gas and nearly exploded adjacent to kitchen. No repair or service personnel to fix this. No visitors allowed and uncompromising rules about guests. Insufficient equipment, dishes in kitchens. Dirty pools Very basic and inadequate cleaning service Poor internet service Inefficient use of electronic checks at security Inadequate advice on rules and regulations within this resort. For the cost of R30000 per day- definitely not worth it in terms of location, services and comfort

The house is beautiful just as the pictures. It is well furnished and equipped. It is in a tranquil area of Zimbali.

For the price, it fell short of expectations. Despite arriving two hours after check-in, the property was still being cleaned. We weren't properly informed that if you have more than four vehicles, one must be parked OUTSIDE the security gate. If we were correctly informed about this, we would not have brought a 5th vehicle. The gas braai was dirty and malfunctioning (definitely needs servicing), forcing us to cook our food in the oven instead—without much concern from the host company. Several door handles and both TVs were broken (it's beautiful large TVs, they were damaged but still working) throughout the house. To top it off, cleaners entered the bedrooms before checkout without asking us beforehand, while our luggage and personal items was still inside. We checked out well before 10am so i didn't appreciate 3 cleaners coming into the space before we were ready. They used the same equipment for cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, and bathroom mats weren’t replaced for new guests. Towels weren’t changed daily either, and we had to request fresh ones. We also experienced a 1.5-hour power outage on our first night. Be Aware: There's also a large deposit required which takes a long time to refund (even though we did not damage anything in the property). Overall, I’d recommend considering other options for your stay, especially if you're spending this type of money.
