No2 Merlot is in a very safe, secure estate and has beautiful views. It is a spacious, modern and beautifully decorated dome with all the amenities we required. Magda was a very responsive host but we had no problems while staying so didn't need to contact her. The outside area is wonderful and sunny for much of the day. The pool is long, thin and q shallow, which we were made aware of before arriving..it is heated which was a bonus.

"Amazing house in great estate!"

Amazing house close to wonderful Noordhoek and a 40 min drive to Cape Town. Magda is THE BEST host and just a wonderful person. The house has everything you need in a safe estate close to everything. There are 4 bedrooms (3 queen, one king) and 3 baths. Great pool (warm!!!) but not very deep. We will be back!!

The location was just perfect, Magda the host was always a WhatsApp message away and was always SUPER helpful. The accommodation is very spacious and quite close to the beach. We also felt very safe as it is in a secure estate. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it 100%

"Home from home, every aspect catered for! Loved it."

Everything the Villa is a real home from home! From the heated pool to the well quipped kitchen. Liked every aspect. Smashing location great for both activities and gorgeous restaurants. Stayed a week and wasn’t long enough hopefully returning next year!

The property had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for our group. After our stay at No 2 Merlot, we moved to a beautifully furnished luxury penthouse in Cape Town, but alas! it lacked the homeliness and focus on the little details we experienced at No 2 Merlot. My family could not stop comparing the small things that made No 2 Merlot the better option between the two. The owners of No 2 Merlot have really put a lot of thought into making the property a perfect vacation stay.

Cape Town and surrounding towns are generally a bit too cool at night and a bit uncomfortable for people like me who are from from warmer climates. While we made use of the throws provided, not being able to warm up the living areas was a tiny bit annoying.
