Villa Luisa

Ci torno sempre ogni volta ormai. Giuseppe e Angela sono gentilissimi e disponibilissimi.

It is a very well-appointed villa, it has two apartments for two groups or families. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pool is superb. Supermarket is very close. For a family outing I highly recommend it! We felt very good😉

Villa Luisa was an eclectic mix of palatial meets Ikea. It was like an oasis in an urban setting, surprisingly quiet except for the train, twice an hour. The pool was sublime and the gardens were well-maintained. Occasionally we had to share the pool with another family but it was so large that this was no problem. It was close to the Rossotonno supermarket and the no. 20 and E buses into Bari Centrale, which took about 20 mins to walk into. Villa Luisa was magnificent and had an air of mystery about it.

Considering it was a large space, the kitchen was difficult to cook in, as there were hardly any work surfaces and the whistling kettle didn't whistle. Some of the light fittings didn't work and one of the beds broke, in true Ikea style. However, Guiseppe and Angela were always close by (but not intrusive) to provide assistance. It would have been good to have a 'Guest Book' containing info such as the WiFi password, where to put the bins, closest restaurants (Al Buco Preferito and Picnic), details of the supermarket and the buses etc.

This stay was beautiful. Truly something out of a movie. It was a perfect getaway after our wedding. Everything was so clean and comfortable. We loved staying here. We can’t wait to return again next year. Communications went smoothly as Giuseppe would answer within a few minutes.

We would have loved to be able to sleep in after a hectic wedding week. But the gardener would already be mowing the lawn or using the leaf blower at 7am. Which woke us up. This was a pity as this happened on both days. Other than that, the stay was absolutely perfect.

Great property! Very aristocratic, big rooms, wonderful pool, meeting all our expectations. There is big supermarket nearby, nice places for dinner, proper public transport, by taxy the cost is around 10-15 Euro to the city center. The host was very kind and supportive and answered all our questions. He managed to react quickly enough when we had our flight delayed and needed one more night to stay there. Highly recommend the villa!

When we made the reservation we searched ENTIRE Villa as we wanted to be alone in the property. During the reservation process it was written the same - period and on property type only one option - Entire Villa. But when we got the confirmation it was written Flat 1 on it. So it turned out that there are 2 separate floors and you book one of them for the price, not the whole villa. Maybe the problem was with the reservation system, we can't be sure.

Villa Luisa is a stunning villa set in a spacious garden. Beautifully proportioned rooms, high ceilings and lovely furnishings. We were in apartment 2 on the top floor. The pool area was wonderful - very relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely responsive to any requests or queries.

There was noise from the railway which runs along the back of the property but after a while we got used to the regular announcements and it didn't deter us from relaxing by the lovely pool.

A gorgeous property with large pool and lovely gardens. A bit too far to walk to the centre of Bari but very peaceful and a great base in Puglia if you have a car. Also Guiseppe was really helpful.

Other than the fact that it’s no so central I can’t think of anything negative about it- we loved it!
