The caretaker was nice as was the view from the top of the house.

There were many problems with my stay. One major problem was the host’s attitude and tactics. First, he asked us to pay a deposit of 1200 rupees outside of booking.com. Then when we asked for the stove, which is supposed to be included, he claimed we had to pay 300 rupees for the stove. Only after calling him and complaining did he reveal that this was already included in the initial payment. Furthermore, one of his offers was that if we exit our booking.com reservation that he would give us the stove for free. So my initial impression was poor since he tried to add extra costs outside of booking.com. The rooms were okay but there were problems here too. The blankets smelled bad, especially the spare ones in the wardrobes. There was mould in the rooms and bathrooms. The outside lock was a padlock about the size of my finger and the door didn’t feel secure at all. In terms of the location, the neighbor’s waste water would flowed down to the front gate of the house which wasn’t pleasant.
