Villa Alam Surya Ubud

The pool water is clean and the villa is quiet and private, staff is friendly. We love the fresh fruit juice and yummy pancakes for the breakfast

Nothing really, it could take some time to find it by yourself, it's better using villa name to search on Google map to find the right location, actually the staff contact me before I arrive and guide us how to find it so it's really helpful.

A beautiful peaceful little place. Lovely garden and pool. Tini was an amazing host and the breakfasts were perfect.

Very clean and private villa all are very flexible and comfortable. Very tidy and clean!! We really enjoyed the stay with big help from villa staff. Don’t forget to ask massage! It worth it to do on the bed in the garden!

Everything about our stay was superb. The location, rooms, food and especially the host Putu and the caretaker Tinny. The suggestions for sightseeing were as per our requirement and pace. Breakfast spread made by Tinny were scrumptious and different everyday. Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable.

Everything was good

Breakfast was superb! Loved the fruits and delicious banana pancakes. Tina is a brilliant cook.The host was very welcoming. The garden was well maintained and the pool was lovely. The location was quiet and peaceful but can feel isolated from restaurants and cafes.

The property could do with some updating. The ceiling fan in the kitchen /dining area didn’t work very well. The AC in one of the bedrooms didn’t work very well. It would be good to have ceiling fans in the veranda/ sitting area outside the bedrooms. The toilet flush and showers need updating.

Was a beautiful villa surrounded by beautiful gardens and a beautiful close walk to temple and rice fields I loved the villa

My only complaint was when it was time to check out the credit card machine wouldn’t work and we had to pay American dollars to pay our bill was inconvenient

Handy location only 10 minutes from the centre of Ubud, great rooms and comfy beds. Staff are super friendly and breakfast was great every morning, found the owner super helpful and responsive if we had silly questions like “where a good coffee spot” all in all really enjoyed our stay!

What’s not to like!

Very peaceful quiet location, a bit away from very busy centre of Ubud. The staff and especially Tinie make this stay wonderful. She is very kind, a great cook and organized several activities for us on the spot.

We had a fantastic stay at villa Alam. Putu organized everything we asked for but Tinny made the difference. Everyday she prepared a terrific breakfast. We loved her banana pancakes. Also the fresh fruits and her Bali storytelling.

The only ‘downside’ is the remote location. In walking distance no coffee place or eatery up to standard. But Grab was our best friend so we really enjoyed.

Lovely people and owner. Would go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for the stay.

We have nothing bad to say, if you want a quiet base in Ubud, look no further. Thanks Putu and staff!
