Sawah Villas

Beautiful and peaceful villa in perfect location, away from the the hustle and bustle but still easy access to everything Ubud has to offer. We stayed at the 2 bedroom villa with 2 teens, it’s specious, well equipped, and has a great layout with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor (downstairs is a gorgeous outdoor bathroom). Two of us also stayed an extra night at the 1 bedroom villa which was also lovely. Both villas were spotless clean, the staff was absolutely lovely, especially Gagas who went above and beyond to ensure we have a great time!

Had a short stay at Sawah Villa from 21–24 Dec, and it was a perfect getaway from the city. Surrounded by paddy fields, the place felt very authentic, with cows in the fields and even a surprise visit from a frog in the toilet which added to the nature experience. Despite being close to nature, there were hardly any mosquitoes as the host really went the extra mile by providing insect repellent and having a diffuser running 24/7 in the room. Power sockets were limited, but extension cables were thoughtfully provided. The villa is about a 10-minute walk to the main road, where there are plenty of good food options and convenience stores. If not, GrabFood is always an easy alternative. The staff were professional, friendly, and easy to reach via WhatsApp for anything we needed. Breakfast was good, and the pool was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a peaceful and well-managed stay for those looking to slow down and enjoy nature.

Very compact. Clean with a good view. .Unfortunately there was some closure at the same time we were there but Gagas organized a car to pick and drop us from the road closure to the villa and vice versa. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was good

Pool was very small and the driveway to the villa was very narrow.one bedroom is upstairs which is not clearly mentioned. Villa is not very close to the Ubud palace and a little inside from the main road.

Our stay was excellent, the hosts were really nice. They usually work at the property from 8am-4pm, but since we were reaching a little later from the airport, they waited for us to check in, we were greeted with a welcome watermelon juice. They showed us our villa with private pool, it was exactly like in the photos. The breakfast had 4 options, which we had to choose from and since we were there for 2 nights we tried 2 items each day, their english breakfast and Indonesian rice dish was good. They would setup the breakfast near the pool at the pre decided time we shared with them the day before. Everything was very well maintained, the property was 5 mins from the main road however we had no issues getting a cab to and from the resort. On our last day, there was construction work at the entry of the main road, but they were considerate enough to arrange a car to drop us till the main road so we don't have to drag our luggage all the way. The property is also around the rice fields so it was quiet and peaceful. They were also available on whatsapp and we were able to coordinate for everything very easily. Overall a great experience and would love to visit again.

Our stay was very comfortable, however they could probably improve even more on the privacy of the villa, as there is another property across on the other side of the rice fields, its pretty far but you might prefer keeping the curtains drawn.

We had a great time at the villa, it was a great size and very comfortable for 4 people. The facilities were nice, modern and clean. Wayan and her team were incredibly friendly and helpful, delivering a very good service for us. Breakfast was great. Would highly recommend staying here if staying in Ubud. It was the perfect distance from the main attractions of the town, as it was close enough to be easily accessible but also quiet and peaceful.

The villa is beautiful and the people that manage this property are the best, I had informed them about my partners birthday and they went above and beyond to celebrate him. The breakfast is amazing, the whole indoor-outdoor vibe of the place is truly nice. Their hospitality team took care of our every request we availed airport transfers, bike renting and laundry services from them since it was affordable and hassle free. This made our stay even more relaxing as we need not go hunting separately for these services they made us feel so cozy and comfortable. We will definitely come back to stay at SAWAH VILLAS.
