Villa Rona 1

Private pool. Owners were fantastic. Comfortable bed.

The bathroom is terrible. There's no window or fan so its humid and doesn't allow any movement of fresh air. The shower had slimy green moss growing on the wall...yuk! Overall the bathroom needs upgrading. Not good. The toilet isnt even bolted down! House keeping not regular. In our total stay of one week the floors were not mopped ever and clean linen came only once. Bathroom only cleaned two times. Hand towels were covered in black mould. Outdoor furniture extremely uncomfortable so we never sat outside. I don't understand the other reviews as they seem completely incorrect. Maybe it was their first time in Ubud and the 'romanticism' of the rice fields and jungle landscapes influenced their experience. We've visited ubud ten times previously and know what is available here and were influenced by the reviews. I wish they were more accurate. Very overpriced for what you get. Again, the reviews had an impact on our decision. I wish people were more discerning as we wasted money here. Sure its cute but its a long way from being excellent.

Villa was lovely with its own cute little pool. The outdoor kitchen area is well equipped with a 5 gallon water machine so you don’t have to worry about buying and carrying water to the villa. The room was comfortable and the shower was always hot. The family who own and run the villa are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We ate with them at their Warung, their son was our taxi and tour guide and they even took our laundry and returned it clean the next day. You can walk out through the fields but other than that, we either used Rona or his son as our taxi or got a Gojeck (Bali equivalent of Uber). The villa was really peaceful and just perfect!

The family was amazing and went out of their way for things we needed so kind and helpful Wayan had amazing food to serve and Ryan the son drove us and took us to the best restaurant in ubud Saprung

Nothing to say it was amazing

Super nice area, you will literally live in the rice fields, although you will be separated with a wall from them. Worth walking in the fields in the evenings. The warung (restaurant) of the owners next door is one of the bests in Ubud, they cook really well, and the breakfast was the best we had on the island. The pool and the garden is beautiful. The owner was very helpful and flexible in everything. It is not in walking distance from the center, but taxi is cheap. Please note, that cars can stop in the nearby turn only, and you have to walk ~100 m to reach the apartment (I don't see this as a problem since the road is very nice with a lot of plants).

The bathroom felt unfinished. It was empty and felt cheap compared to the rest of the apartment. The outside area has a lot of wildlife like geckos and frogs, which we actually liked, but some people won't.

Privacy, pool, home-made breakfast was excellent, friendly owners. Pool water was changed and rooms were cleaned everyday. Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days. There is a cute puppy in the vicinity. You will not miss this friendly creature, she will come to you to brighten your morning. The place is just beside rice fields, great for walk/run during sunrise. It’s peaceful here. I love that it’s equipped with a kitchen.

There are few mosquitoes that come in the room, but this can be avoided by closing the doors. No dedicated car parking, and main road a 5-minute walk to the property. Only scooters can access the villa.

Comfortable studio villa in a lovely setting. Very quiet and peaceful.

It’s pricey for what you get.

This place is magical! We like everything about this little villa.

very clean facilities, looks exactly like pictures. travelled here with family and it was so beautiful. 10/10 recommend. Food here is delicious and right next to the villas. Deffinately will be returning here
