Villa Mewali

We loved everything about Villa Mewali. The house is very comfortable and clean, and everything has been thought of down to the torches for nighttime walks to the clean water dispenser that also does hot water. Yoga was a great host and made amazing breakfasts in the mornings, and we appreciated Wayan picking us up from the airport, especially as he had to wait a long time. The location is perfect, close to the shops and cafes in Penestanan, but super quiet and peaceful. And it has a nice pool. Totally recommend staying here.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The place is very homey. It consists of an open plan kitchen and a living room that fronts a reasonably sized swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, with a masters with a king bed and the second room with two singles that fits our two kids. Rooms have separate bathrooms and a small walk-in closet. There is a set of books that are really good to read (we finished two when we were there) and ample towels everywhere. Yoga, the master caretaker is very friendly and cooks very good breakfast. The property also has recommendations for a good driver (Kadek), and a freelance massage therapist whom my wife appreciated; she also did manicure and pedicure for my wife and daughter. There are really good shops nearby - resto, a massage parlor, a tattoo shop, an ice-cream place, and a pork ribs resto just 5 minutes walk away. It was a splendid stay. We will definitely come back.

The villa sits on a narrow road a few steps away from a main road that only caters to motorbikes. If you have a handful of luggage, it will be quite a chore. But Yoga will take care of that when you will inform him in advance of your arrival.

the incredible attention to detail, every little detail was thought of. it’s a beautiful space, central but so tranquil. Yoga was helpful, made me lovely breakfasts and kept the place spotless!

I can’t fault it!

We loved our stay in this hidden gem. It’s definitely better in person and the photos don’t do it justice. Yoga was amazing and his kindness and amazing breakfast every morning made our stay so much better. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and convenience stores as well. 10/10 would recommend.

The property is tacked away from busy streets, so expect calmness and relaxation. the house in comfortable for 4 people. Its hostess, Yoga, was kind, attentive and a great breakfast maker. The rooms and beds were comfortable, clean and with plenty of space for luggage and storage.

It was relatively far away from the city center. Yes, in return you have quietness, but it is nice to be near varied restaurants and cafes.
