Beautiful VILLA Sahara, BBQ

The view from the villa is nice. The pool area and terrace is large, with plenty of chairs and sunbeds. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and there is a gate and car port which is useful for those travelling with a hire car. The host was also very helpful and allowed us to drop our suitcase off before the check in time, and then allowed us 4 hours of extra time to check out which was much appreciated as we had a late flight. The view of the sunset was beautiful from the roof terrace.

The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was a bit loud and rattled, which made it hard to sleep. Some signs of wear and tear like mouldy shower doors, and the hot tub was left sitting out even though it is broken and full of rancid water. Overall the condition of the villa was acceptable, but there is room for improvement. For the price being paid, everything should be in perfect condition, but overall I would say the previous negative reviews are slightly exaggerated. Yes it is true that there are signs of maintenance issues, but it is not that bad.

The location was good

No heated pool, no Wi-Fi, no air-con downstairs, broken and shoddy furniture, broken shelves, handles and door locks, broken kettle, toaster and tv remotes (so the TV’s didn’t work all holiday) broken fridge, enough cutlery for 3 even though there were 10 of us and there were no blankets or duvets when we arrived only a sheet each so everyone froze the first night!! Front lawn overgrown, no remote for electric gates so we couldn’t use the drive for a few days, hot tub full of mold and algae and inoperative, electric wires exposed by pool, sofa filthy dirty and stained, 1 chair on top balcony and the burglar alarm kept going off but the host ignored us so we just had to put up with it! Overall the worst place we have ever booked through Booking.com and if you have booked this place I would seriously suggest you cancel it!!! We made the most of a terrible situation as neither the host or Booking.com would move us!

Facilities were excellent.

Nothing. Although the villa was slightly out of the way, the taxi's were fast and efficient with some planning but still the Villa was within a reasonable walking distance.

We were self catering. Great location but you need a car. Villa is v spacious. Great pool and outside area. Good as we had 5 children in the group.

We had to wait 15 mins for the keys even though we had kept in touch. Only 4 forks for 12 people - 2 days before this was rectified. Barbarque was broken & filthy. Hot tub not working. Toaster and kettle not working - nothing done. Travel kettle for 12 people

close to Adeje centre very spacious

Contact point Indi was great and very helpful. Pool was a good size and good temperature in the evening when cover was left on. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms good, beds comfortable. No complaints about the villa!

Only issue is that the taxis were quite busy and we struggled to get 2 cabs at the same time. Instead we walked to the nearest hotel which was about 20 mins away.

The house is big and comfy. Everything works and there were plenty of plates and glasses for the group of our size(7 adults and 4 kids). We asked for 3 baby cribs and a high chair and it was all taken care of when we arrived. The contact person was waiting for us when we arrived at the house and gave us a good tour around the house. No pools in Tenerife are hot... the day we arrived a mechanic came and turned on the heating and told us to put the cover over the pool every night. We can't complain about the pool, it was just fine.

The house is quite far up the hill, it's always a heavy walk to walk downtown to the resturants and to the beach.
