Eremita Villa Sicily

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Noto, Avola et Modica. Petit coin de paradis relativement isolé mais proche de tout. Jolis ameublements et jolies décorations (sauf le canapé su salon qui est défraichis)

L'entretien général laisse à désirer. Pas mal de choses commencent à se dégrader. Baignoire, murs, etc... Il faudrait mettre plus de choses à disposition comme de l'eau en bouteille du gel douche/shampoing et du papier toilette en suffisance. Des essuis pour la piscine ce serait bien. Un petit robot de nettoyage du fond de la piscine ne serait pas du luxe. Beaucoup de bruit le matin à cause des oiseaux qui tapent sur le toit et la nuit, concert de chiens qui aboient dans le voisinage...

It had a sunny aspect and was mostly clean, although not sure about the shower area

Sadly it was style over comfort. It actually wasn’t a very comfortable villa to live in. Sofa, beds, chairs. There was no welcome pack, we didn’t have oven gloves, tea towels, any basics such as washing up liquid etc which you’d normally get in a villa stay. The cooker hood was missing, which meant the smell of food lingered into the next day despite doors and windows being open all day to try and clear. The bbq area had no lighting, so had to switch bedroom light on to cook anything in the evening. There wasn’t any information as to where nearest supermarkets, beaches, restaurants were. Just missing some of the basics. Other things to note, whilst we realised this is a rural area, there were stray dogs/cats around. Next door appeared to be home/resident for people with special needs so quite often there was screaming heard. On reflection, compared to other villas we’ve stayed in the Mediterranean this is a poor 5/10

Location is very good in very quiet surroundings. The pool area is spacious

It lacked amenities such as toaster. We were only given 1 big towel and 1 small one and 1 medium for the whole 4 nights. Guests are expected to wash the towels however there was no washing detergent available. The beds were so uncomfortable, one of the beds made noises with each movement that doesn’t let you sleep. The TVs in each bedroom and in the living room are 24 inch big and you can only watch Italian channels. There are no smart TVs. There is a gas stove however the lighter available did not have any flame. The stove does not have any hood such that when cooking the smell remained inside. The outdoor furniture is not maintained well - the canopy is broken and also ornaments in the terrace are left broken on the side which makes it unsafe if you have kids. The ashtrays outside were not cleaned as there was still cigarette buds in them. There are no outdoor lights which is a pity cos you cannot enjoy the pool at night or eat in the terrace.

Pool und Nähe zum Strand waren okay

Ich zähle jetzt mal lose auf: mangelnde Sauberkeit (Möbel verschmutzt, Geschirr war dreckig), Möbel insgesamt abgewohnt und teilweise kaputt, die auf den Fotos sichtbaren Holzzähne existieren nicht mehr, das zweite Bad ist nur eine Außentoilette, Putz an den Wänden bröckelt ab, Türzargen kaputt, Rollos kaputt, insgesamt bräuchte das Haus dringend eine Renovierung, der Pool war schmutzig und wirde auch nach Aufforderung nicht gereinigt. Es war noch mehr nicht in Ordnung, aber ich habe keine List noch mehr zu schreiben. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von der Qualität.

This is a really stylish property in a perfect location in Avola, very close to Noto. It is the perfect size for a family of four.

The property was lovely and a great find, but it'd be great if a cleaner could come half way through the week to change the sheets and towels etc.

Haus an sich sehr schön. Aussicht und Lage

Es wird sich nicht gut um das Haus gekümmert. Schimmel in Schalen, Pool muss dringend gereinigt werden, Ausstattung in der Küche fehlt oder ist kaputt.

The place was simply stunning. It was the perfect break; the pool was perfect and the house was pristine and comfortable. Would highly recommend. We thought it was too good to be true; it wasn't! Everything was perfect.

Villa arredata con gusto sia all’interno che all’esterno. La piscina davvero bella e con una buona privacy, la vegetazione del giardino molto curato.

Andrebbe mantenuta meglio. L’impianto dell’acqua calda ha avuto dei problemi e all’Interno ci sono alcune piccole cose che sono da sistemare (scarichi dei sanitari, le tende, alcune mensole posticce), cose comunque di secondo piano. Per essere davvero “Luxury” dovrebbe poi essere dotata di un microonde e di una lavastoviglie.
