Modern Villas in Plush town

We were in unit 20. So this review is on unit 20. Likes - It was a spacious house for our group of 6. There was a range of spices and condiments left from previous party’s for use. This was great for when cooking. We were fortunate to see the northern lights one night from the house. The temperature inside was nice warm during our stay. Dislikes - Top bathroom had mould in the shower, various rooms had cracked glass windows, one was really badly shattered. Messaged to report the broken windows and received no reply. Toaster was also not working, messaged again to report that with no reply. A reply from the host to acknowledge previous damages would have been nice. There was no soap in the top bathroom dispenser. Things to note for future travellers things we wish we had known before booking. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for the stay. (Our stay was 8 nights) There is a note on bathrooms that the hot water isn’t unlimited and it’s only a 200L tank. So for bigger groups you need to have short showers so there is enough hot water for your group size. The house is located up a hill, so it is an uphill walk to get there. Would advise for future travellers booking a taxi to get their luggage bags to the house.

The host is basically running a money grab. The price on booking.com for 2 and 4 people is the same, so i didnt pay attention to this when i booked...even though i messaged the host to tell them that we were 4 people and needed 4 separate rooms. When we got there, there were no sheets or towels in 2 of the rooms...and the host FLEECED us for 2000 NOK (~USD 180) as a charge for extra people - which was a rip off because their brochure says the charge for extra towels and sheets is only 200-150NOK per set. The hosts are CHEAP - we were APALLED that the unit said it would charge extra for more toilet paper rolls. I have stayed in lots of AirBNBs and apartments - this is the first (and hopefully only time) that i have had to deal with such nonses.

Spacious house well equipped with everything needed for a short break. Close to town centre with a bus stop just around the corner.

Beautiful house, amazing view and very clean. Owner very helpful and responsive. Interior was cozy and we really enjoyed the stay.

A few minutes walk up the hill on a quiet and stunning neighborhood. The property is easy to find, smooth check-in process and super responsive host. Stunning views from any room and very nice kitchen space. Washing/Dry machines were also nice to have.

The heating system can be improved, the two fan heaters are not enough to warm up the living room area and the kitchen/dinner area. With such a lovely kitchen, the host should make a little more effort on the kitchen gear. Missing cutlery/ dishes for all guests and basics such as a couple more pots and pans, potholders, and a water jug. Towels quality can be improved. Property entrance has stairs, for us it was ok but it might pose a problem during winter if you don’t snowplow every day.
