Albufeira Mar Vilas

It was very close to down town! There are near by supermarkets to buy food/drinks. It’s bigger than I thought! Very spacious. The Villa has high security level. Albufeira is very safe but felt safer at this Villa. All the balconies and terrace has shutters. The pool is very clean and gets cleaned every day. Peaceful sleep no issues.

When we arrived - the flooring was not cleaned because it was sandy. Not ideal considering it’s an expensive stay. The cleaning should be done everyday however the leaflet stated it’s every two days - which didn’t happen. No communication with the management, pretty much a self check-out and check-in - messages were exchanged via booking.com app to get toilet paper and extra towels. WiFi was not the best but okay downstairs

Excellent location, very close to the escalators in old town. Staff extremely helpful had babys cot and highchair set up for when we arrived. The villa it's self was very clean and spacious. Ideal accommodation/location will be booking again.

Facilities. Furniture out dated. Nothing worked.

Location location location! This is in an excellent location. So handy to the old town and a few minutes walk to the escalator. A row of 6 villas with a shared pool. Lovely sized property with 3 bedrooms, one ensuite and 3 bathrooms in total. Very clean, air conditioning in all rooms. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher although no oven just a microwave and hob. Towels changed every few days and bedding once a week. Pool was lovely. We always got a sun lounger. Maids were very friendly. Host quick to respond.

The Wi-Fi is non existent so if you’re relying on it you would be best not to. The only thing that lets the villa down is the lack of a washing machine. I really missed that. We also had on 2 occasions the noisiest most inconsiderate neighbours. Young party groups who made so much noise during the night that we were woken up several nights with banging, talking, arguing, glasses smashing & chairs dragging around & not one thought for anyone around them. We had cigarettes thrown onto our terrace too. Sad that these types let down the place.
