We enjoyed our stay here ferry much. The hotel is nice decorated. There are good vibes. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. He went to the city for himself but bought some beer for us too. The women that worked there made a lovely dinner and breakfast for us.

Bandata was an amazing host! He helped us through the whole vacation. Couldn’t ask for anything more :)

The owner and the two ladies helping him were so sweet. The hotel is very calm and we eat very well.

The staff was friendly.

Our room had an ant infestation. They were even crawling over the bed. We understand that this is in the tropics and that insects are unavoidable, but together with the many other types of insects that we found in our room, this was too much. There are simple ways to deal with this. We also thought the room had a rather 'grimm' vibe because there barely comes any light from the small window and the rest of the walls were terra-cotta. Together with the cold (3000 kelvin), yet faint, lighting, this made the room very dark. The chairs in our room were at the point of breaking. Of course, this is just one perspective. We talked to other guests after our arrival and they said to have had a great stay for 5 days. Anyway, we decided to go to another hotel but nonetheless paid for the first night.

This is a nice authentic stay. You are in a natural environment, near a lake and trees. The Hideaway has 4-6 rooms, so it has a homely and cozy feel. Everyone was friendly and kind. The pool was a delight in the morning. We would swim in the morning before our adventures.
