"Great stay"

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.

Short version: awesome sri lankan food, quiet place, great host. Recommended! Long version: Well hidden place away from traffic and noise. Beautifully decorated and tastefully styled surroundings. Like a small jungle village. Clean and cosy. But the host himself is what makes the stay here special and such a good experience. A helpfult, funny, laid back and very trustworthy and reliable guy who made his dream of having a quiet little tourist stay come true. He knows a lot about tourism in Sri Lanka and was trying to help in every way possible. He likes having guests over and loves to cook. The food was the best we tried in Sri Lanka and we were happy to stay more than for one day. The room was clean, the beds comfy and we had an AC. Surprisingly we did not have to worry too much about mosquitos inside aswell as outside even if the place is close to nature and a beautiful lake. Make yourself a favor and visit Bandaras to enjoy a perfect stay.

A little tropical paradise. Beautiful and quirky place . Great host. Kettle and tea in room added bonus! Breakfast lovely.

Was soooooo humid that fan didn't really keep me cool but that can't be helped!!

Loved everything! spacious rooms with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel is located at a beautiful lake, which is in my opinion one of the nicest places in Dambulla. Breakfast was really good as well.
