82 Steps to the Beach

It was a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay with the noise of the ocean in the background and the short walking distance to the beach. Also enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen! Shirley was also amazing with her quick and thorough responses to our queries. Will definitely be back!

It was a lovely location close to the CBD and the beach.

Shirley the host met us at the property. We were running late and she was perturbed that she had something on the stove which I felt wasn’t a good welcome to Pringle Bay or the accommodation. Usually in self catering places they at least have a small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and a small milk to start your stay off with but this was not the case here. The power went off for a few hours on Friday morning and the DB board was in a different location so we couldn’t put the power back on. Also we could check out at 10am but Shirley came around at 08:30 already, this I thought was extremely rude as we hadn’t told her we’d be checking out early. She then came back later also before 10am again and made me feel like I had to leave. She also in a round about way asked why the smoke detector had gone off. I told her that we do not smoke, and that she was welcome to smell inside the place. The power had gone off so I assume it was the alarm going off when the power came back on again. Unfortunately I will not recommend this property to anyone, they need to be more accommodating to visitors, and maybe realise that the small touches go a long way to keep people coming back. What a pity - this was my first introduction to Pringle Bay. This property also wasn’t the cheapest so I am disappointed.

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back.

Beautiful location.

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, cozy, and just steps from the beach. Waking up to ocean views and falling asleep to the sound of waves was incredible. The location was peaceful but close to great cafés and restaurants. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. A truly relaxing and unforgettable escape! We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful modern home with top European-style quality finishes. Plenty of space for our group of 6. Easy access to the beach.

The property was beautifully presented and very well equipped. We had two of the units which could be opened up to create one large one, perfect for our party of 7. Lovely pool and garden at the back and a very short walk to the lovely beach. The small town centre was a 10 minute walk several good restaurants, supermarket and a nice spot for cocktails overlooking the coast. We loved our 2 night stay in Pringle Bay and hope to visit again.
