They do not change linen for a 4-night booking if it falls on a weekend and we were not provided with alternative towels. We had to use the towels left in the washing machine. There is no housekeeping over the weekends, instead they charge R900 to clean and or change linen regardless of how the duration of your stay. The towels are old, changed colours and torn/holed. Oven was not cleaned, we only picked this up after 2 days when we wanted to use it. Blocked shower drain, just a lot of things that should have been attended to by housekeeping / maintenance team before guests check-in. Flat old pillows and cheap inners. Tripping hazard on the walkway to the viewing deck. Damaged remote control and ceiling stains etc, The host was ignorant to address guest discomfort pertaining to linen changes an only resolved the gas bottle request.

Plunge pool could be heated and a few touch ups on maintenance

Smooth check in Portia was amazing and always willing to help with a smile. We were away for the day on Saturday and Portia was flexible to work on Sunday which was really helpful.

Small leak from the ceiling onto the wall in the bedrooms- this did not dampen our spirits though. The alarm in the main suite went off and disturbed us that night- however, this was attended to promptly the next morning.
