Made and Nyoman were fabulous. Couldn’t ask for better hosts and cooks.

Could be cleaner. Thorough check for potentially harmful insects, eg. black widow at pool and red ants on the porch staircase

Our host met us in the rain and got us settled in. She made sure we had something to eat and that we were comfortable.

Location lovely and staff were very helpful for Christmas Day lunch we were preparing.

The oven didn't work and the fridge is full of all kinds of things so there wasn't enough space to put all our Christmas food. On the last day as we were busy packing up and saying goodbye to our friends we were asked when we were going to pay... pay for what?! We had paid in October. Really not the kind of stress you want at the end of your stay. As others said, breakfast is too basic and staff never asked if there was anything we needed before disappearing. A few changes could make this place better for the price paid.

Stunning location on the beach. Snorkelling at high tide is possible but tricky at low tide.

Its an older traditional Balinese building so cooling down the rooms is a bit of a challenge. The air-conditioning does a pretty good job, but not cool like a modern hotel.

The villa, the location, the staff, the breakfasts, the facilities. Many magical memories made. So sad to leave.

Great looking traditional „huts“ with outdoor bathroom. Located directly at the sea (bigger stones there). Area not that busy. Very friendly staff!!

Roosters, dogs, street noise…because of the thin wooden construction you can basically hear everything that happens outside. Also not dark in the rooms once the sun rises. Not much privacy because people coming constantly to the ground to sell something or asking for money. Breakfast rather simple.
