The Surya Kuta Villa

It was close to the airport and the staff was accommodating to give us our airport transfer to the airport as opposed to a pick up.

The units itself are really run down and looked nothing like the photos. We didn't stay the night as we only booked the room as a resting spot before a late evening flight, but the sheets had visible stains on them and the furniture was very dusty. A lot of things were provided, there was missing cutlery, the soap wasn't refilled, the water unit was empty...it was all in all a very disappointing experience given the price.

The private pool

The rooms being on seperate levels and the pool having no fence. I slept with one child and my husband with the other because we were worried they would slip on the stairs (it was raining) or go into the pool unsupervised.

Very old facilities also not very clean…

Perfect location close to the airport for our 15-hour layover. The pool was great and the outdoor area was very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Second bedroom is upstairs and is not connected to the main bedroom. I had my child in that bedroom, but the door could not be locked unless the key was used from the inside (or the child was locked into the room from the outside) , so i couldnt lock it (didn't want to be locked out from my child in case sometbing happened inside the room). The door to the courtyard was only secured wjth a wooden bolt so I was a little worried about security during the night as it was new years eve Everything was fine in the end.
