Puri Arta Villa

Best accommodation we had in Bali. We got the 1-bedroom villa and it was very comfortable for 2pax. The private pool is the best part honestly. You’ll be tempted to just stay in the villa all day instead of going to town. Alex the host embodies Balinese hospitality at its best. The villa is not in the town centre but it’s fine if you have a bike/use Grab/Gojek and it’s very peaceful this way. There’s a convenience store and some warungs within walking distance. Breakfast can be selected in advance and is delivered each morning by Alex at the time that suits you. It’s home cooked by Alex’s parents and is delicious!

Diese Villa war unsere beste Unterkunft in Bali. Sie war ausgesprochen sauber und gut ausgestattet. Den besten Eindruck macht die Gastfreundschaft: Alex war ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, er war immer erreichbar und hat sich binnen Minuten um unser Anliegen gekümmert. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Alex is the nicest host that we have met. Kids love the swimming pool too much! Super quiet & peaceful place, we loved it!!

Nothing major - water pressure can be stronger, will be good if cotton buds / shower cap / hair conditioner is provided 😊

Location: close to ubud center and away from traffic gam at the same time, cleanliness of the villa, big swimming pool, hoist (Alex) was friendly and helpful

No Iron, no TV, no view.

The villa exceeded all expectations — it’s both stunning and extremely comfortable. The pool, which seemed a bit small in the photos, turned out to be the perfect size with just the right depth for a refreshing swim. The host was exceptional — very friendly, always available, and eager to assist with anything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a nice touch, with a decent variety of options that could be conveniently ordered the night before for delivery at a specific time. The location was ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything you might need, including shops and restaurants.

There’s a one-way road near the location, so if you’re coming from a certain direction or from the city center, online taxi rides can end up being more expensive due to the long detours. Additionally, there’s construction nearby, which means there’s quite a bit of noise throughout the day. You do get used to it after a while, though. The host was very considerate, regularly checking in to see if we were comfortable and even offering to speak with the workers about the noise.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa. Alex was super friendly, and welcomed us to his Villa. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool every day and massages from some local ladies. Breakfast included best banana pancakes and really good local coffee. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend this accommodation.
