10 of us stayed at Villa Emma for one week in May 2025, and our truly exceptional experience began well before we even set foot in Portugal. Around a week before our trip, we received a detailed and thoughtful message from the team, packed with everything we needed – from contact numbers to local tourist recommendations. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and even took the stress out of arranging airport transfers for our group. Nothing was ever too much trouble. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Caroline, who gave us a full tour of the villa. What a beauty! The villa is absolutely stunning – just as gorgeous as the photos and glowing reviews suggest. We were also greeted with wine and a delicious local treat, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The team had considered absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They were always available to answer any questions and were nearby in case we needed anything. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, Hugo – a fantastic and down-to-earth guy. The heated pool was an absolute highlight – perfect for early morning dips and midnight swims. Villa Emma is a truly beautiful property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Huge thanks to Caroline, Maria, and Catarina for looking after us so well – you made our holiday unforgettable!

The pool and all the rooms were amazing! We were greeted with such a warm welcome, between the desserts and all the questions I had about the area that the managers recommendations made so easy to navigate our dinner choices we were so impressed!

It was a little further away from restaurants than we would have liked but Uber was fast and cheap to where we needed to go. The house was worth the extra distance to come back too.

My family of 9 adults and 1 child spent 12 days at Villa Emma to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We had a fantastic holiday, the Villa was superb and catered perfectly for the whole family (4 generations) ages 3 to 74. The villa is large and spacious just like the photos (It did not disappoint) The beds were extremely comfortable, we all slept very well. Carolina and Hugo was amazing! Carolina kept in touch with us throughout our stay incase there was anything we needed. Myself and my family would highly recommend this Villa. 😊👌🏼

The Villa was superb, there was nothing we didn’t like.

This property is second to none - spotlessly clean with every possible facility/ utensil you could wish for available. It is very safe and secure and clearly superbly maintained. The condition of furnishings felt brand new and the pool and hot tub were immaculate and in full working order.

We have only positive things to say. Our experience for our time there was exceptional.
