Minffordd Cottage

The country side location was really beautiful. The hosts were absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly. The cottage has all needed appliances and facilities you would need. Moreover, the owners have alpacas and various other domestic animals/birds in their backyard, so a huge plus for families with children.

Everything was fine, apart maybe from the heating - we were unlucky to have some chilly days when we stayed there (1 night only) and I couldn't manage to start the air conditioning system on heating mode (most probably, only my lack of knowledge).

I made a phone call and was met by Jenny to hand over the keys and talk us through how to use remotes, recycling etc. The cottage was warm and very quiet, nicely set back from the main highway so no noise. The air con worked well, bed was comfy and loved the lounge chairs. It was like a home away from home.

Close enough to Fielding shops but in lovely quiet country surrounds wth Alpaca's in the fields..Owner friendly & had everything well organized.. even an iron for ironing my creased outfit for the wedding we were attending.

No big mirror to check if we looked ok for Grandsons wedding.

The cottage had everything we needed in a peaceful, relaxing setting.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Realised afterwards I had been charged more than the amount stated on my booking.

Very quiet, peaceful with the alpacas out the back. Lovely hosts who came to great us on arrival and gave us a quick tour. The room had everything you could want for either a short or longer stay

Tranquil and comfortable with all you need for an overnight stay! Highly recommended! Lovely hosts. Will stay here again.
