Villa Frangi

Staff were lovely but the property was well below our expectations and not at all like the photos. It seems that very little maintenance had been done at all and the staff seemed to be very sorry for this. They suggested that the owner was not prepared to allow them to empty the pool to clean it and it was filthy turning green. The manager and staff were fantastic and understood our situation. They supported our decision to leave and assisted us in by moving us to a more appropriate place. This villa is listed as luxury and is definitely not and will need a lot of improvement to get what you are expected to be paid.

Villa Frangi was the perfect, place for our family of 7, providing privacy and comfort. The communal family area was very spacious and comfortable with the kitchen providing efficient cooking facilities when needed. The pool was a good size and you could actually swim in it, which is sometimes hard to find. The location was excellent, being about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We all hired push-bikes for the time we were there, which we rode along the beach path, exploring restaurants, cafes and shopping. Fempi and staff were so good, maintaining the accommodation and easily contactable when need be. Fridge was well stocked with cold drinks(by request) on arrival and staff prepared a lovely breakfast (by request) on our first morning. My daughter also organised with staff to decorate my bedroom as a surprise for my birthday. 🤩

One of the villa’s bathrooms was a bit smelly but I think this may have come from outside the Villa?? It seemed as though staff were trying to eradicate the smell.

Location was good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Large drinking water dispenser in kitchen was good.

Pool was grubby as tiles needed scrubbing. Water pump in one villa was very noisy at night as continually running. Wifi definitely inadequate as not available in all rooms or near pool. It was only available in living room/kitchen.

Staff are excellent, awesome outdoor and communal space. Bedrooms also spacious with nice furnishings.

Mould in the bedrooms was not so good, pool could have been a bit cleaner, had some green on the tiles. Some doors didn't close properly due to weathering.

Great location, friendly staff

The pool was filthy, a few of us developed bad ear infections and ended up having to visit the doctors. No real cupboard space to hang clothes is annoying, everyone had their bags and clothes on the floor. Some money needs to be spent, one of the fans in the living room doesn't work, the handwash light doesn't work, the toaster only half works, the aircon is not big enough to cool the main room.
