Check-in was straight forward. A host was there waiting and showed us around. Location is also very good, short downhill walk to the beach with a great beach bar/restaurant.

The place is severely run down. The pictures are several years old. There's mould throughout: on tables, windows and shutters; multiple pieces of broken furniture; kitchen utensils were old and dirty and in one instance with insects living inside; fly screens were ripped, pool edges were stained, with tiles missing and a strong smell of drains in the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. We left as soon as we found alternative accommodation and requested a refund. This place has been severely neglected - a great shame.
