Villa Laurel de Mijas by Ruralidays

The villa was spacious and had almost everything we needed, the children (4 and 6) loved the garden, trampoline and pool so they were happy for the full holiday! Plenty of sunbeds and chairs for sitting, we were a family of 10 and there was space enough for everyone. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer. plenty of crockery cutlery etc, microwave hob and oven. dishwasher. There is a washing machine and 2nd fridge freezer in the garden outhouse, we used this for drinks! pool towels and some inflatables /toys for the kids are also out there , alongside table tennis tables and equipment, highchairs, ironing board. really everything you will need is probably there. There is an outside toilet for using when in the garden and bar area it is very clean and modern, also a garden shower for the pool. The pool area is lovely and the Garden is all enclosed/private with an electric gate for the driveway lots of space outside. All in all, it is a lovely villa and great value for the price, if they could update a bit I would say it could be amazing but it has a rustic Spanish charm which was lovely. The Villa was clean and towels, bedding etc all included. the bathrooms were all spacious, modern and clean. You will need a car, i would say to get around easier, there is a small supermarket a few streets up for essentials but you need to drive to get to bigger shops. The owner was contactable during our stay and very responsive , he resolved any issues very quickly.

hot water issues- boiler not working- although the owner resolved this very quickly for us. Some of the appliances were not fully working- 2 Hobs for cooking -1 gas and 1 induction/halogen? but only one ring on each was working so this was an issue when cooking, with 10 of us this was tricky but it didn't affect us too much we worked around it with humour :) Some of the other equipment is a bit tired and could do with updating but the oven fridge microwave and dishwasher were fine , really all ok and everything is there that you might need. The only other negative is there is a kennels right next door and the dogs bark a lot!, mostly during the day, we didn't hear too much during the night. After a few days we didn't notice it as much, but it is loud!

I loved the location but I had a car, without one it would be tricky as it is quite hilly. The house was perfect, clean and great facilities.

De accommodatie ligt heerlijk vrij en toch niet ver van Mijas. Erg leuk traditioneel ingericht met een mooie tuin.

Kan eigenlijk niets bedenken.

Prachtige tuin met zwembad. Huis voorzien van alle gemakken!

Blaffende hondenbin de omgeving

Teren obiektu jest fajny, przestronny ogród, basen. Dom urządzony w starym stylu. Dużo miejsca dla dużej grupy osób. Całkiem wygodne łóżka i sypialnie. Dobra lokalizacja, na uboczu, ale nie daleko miasteczka.

Brak podstawowych środków czystości - tabletek do zmywarki, środków do prania, zmywaka do naczyń. Mocowanie szyby wewnętrznej w piekarniku było uszkodzone, co groziło poparzeniem albo wypadnięciem szyby i jej stłuczeniem. Stare, z nieodpranymi plamami ręczniki. Pościele - kołdry, które wyglądały nieświeżo, nie miały poszwy były oddzielone jedynie prześcieradłem. W jednym pokoju bardzo intensywny nieprzyjemny zapach (najprawdopodobniej od starych mebli), niemożliwy do wywietrzenia mimo non stop otwartych okien i drzwi. Stara suszarka do włosów, która przy próbie użycia się spaliła.

De bedden waren wat aan de kleine kant. De oven werkte niet, de electriciteit viel uit als je de oven opzette. Heel veel lawaai van de honden achter het huis. De keuken is wel aan vernieuwing toe vind ik.

Villa was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. The garden and pool area were lovely and very well kept

There were a lot of dogs in the local area. They were very noisy on occasions.

Great and silent place, we felt very comfortable and safe. Teenagers happy (pool, ping pong table, basketball, and other sport stuff). Mijas 2km, you can go there by car or for a walk - no problem. Great area for running/ biking/ hiking - I am totally happy as a runner - the hills and roads with no cars are just great. Love it. For the beach and sea side -7 min by car -also acceptable. The most important - contact via Whatsup with Owner - all potential questions were answered immediately, even case when the basketball was thrown to the neighbours....:)
