Villa Monica

We loved everything about the villa, it provided everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Villa Monica exceeded our families expectations. We thought that the photos looked amazing and weren't sure what we were going to see, but the villa is simply fabulous! Beautiful, clean and all the facilities you would want and more. A swimming pool, and a lovely hot hot-tub! I think this is the best place we have ever stayed, it is that good. The location is beautiful and very close to Nerja and the local beach. Our first time in Nerja and we will go back, so much to see, and we have already recommended Villa Monica to our sister who is planning on going out next year with her family.

I honestly can't find anything to fault with our stay. Monica is lovely, the building is beautiful and clean and we were treated very well, no faults.

AC in all bedrooms, 4 bed property (2 bedrooms 1 bathroom upstairs & same downstairs) not a huge villa but still plenty of room. Nice beds (pillows hard). Modem throughout. Lovely pool and hot tub. View of the sea. You drive through an industrial farmland area to get to villa which isn’t that appealing but once at villa it’s beautiful. Avocado & lemon trees etc. Short drive to Lidl and Nerja town - we parked at top by bus station and walked down. Close to a quiet beach with a beach bar and cafe selling grilled sardines etc., really nice. Need a car. We’ve had a really lovely week and the owners are friendly and responsive. 10/10 from us!

There was nothing to dislike

Great location. We saw herd of goats walking to the stable on our way to villa almost everyday. It was awesome. Supermarket is just 5 minutes away from villa. Remote place so it is a huge plus. Nobody around you which is great. You can have a grill and take a bath in the jacuzzi at the same time. It is serene surrounding. We had a great time there. Clean rooms. Equipped kitchen. Netflix and youtube in TV for entertainment in the evenings. 20 minutes walk to the beach.

Spotlessly clean and beautiful villa. Great communication from friendly host and easy key exchange. Perfect private location to have a peaceful week away but conveniently still only 5 minute drive to supermarket (Lidl) or 10 minutes drive to Mercadona or Carrefour. Nerja town centre also just 10 minute drive away. Plenty of beaches nearby to visit but we barely left the house as it had everything we needed to relax. A visit to nearby Frigiliana is a must (you can get there by bus from Nerja or drive 15-20 minutes). We loved it and will definitely return again.

Location was perfect for us but if you didn't have a car it might be a bit tricky.
