Villa Manhattan

The villa was exceptional. The photos do not do it justice. We loved the space both inside and out. It was very clean and comfortable; there were ants, but they're tiny and not going to bother you if you clean up after food. Plenty of space for eating in and out and so much space to sit out either by the pool, on the large veranda or on the balcony off the master bedroom. The boys loved the pool and spent most of the time there. There was direct sun pretty much all day from early until late for the worshipers. There are 2 massive TV's so we watched a movie as a family nearly every night. The location is very good, it is quiet and near to supermarkets but you will need a car to get around or you'll be paying for taxi's as it is a good 30 min walk to Nerja and quite a hill to get back. Javier is a real gentleman and was very attentive when we had an issue with the AC on 1st day and with power outage on last night. Frigiliana is just 15 minutes away and is absolutely worth a visit.

There is really nothing to complain about, nothing we didn't like but if I have to find something, there weren't any restaurants nearby, so you really had to go into centre of Nerja. which was a good 30 min walk so a car is a must. It wasn't a big deal as we were so happy just to sit around and chill by the pool all day, but my boys did said they would've liked to be able to walk to a nearby restaurant for a break during the day. It's about 10 min walk to Lidl & Aldi, but uphill on way back so again you really will need a car for a big shop. I found the pool a bit cold but maybe just my old bones; the boys certainly didn't complain. One of my twins found the twin bed uncomfortable. Nothing to do with villa, but beaches in Nerja are not all that. They look lovely but they are stony and there is a very sharp drop in the water within only a couple of metres of the shoreline. There is also a real shortage of beds and parasols along the beach even though there is lots of space on Burriana and Torrecilla beaches we had to leave a couple of mornings as there were none available on either. The beaches are lovely to look at, but you're not going to be able to stay there if you don't have shade.

Lovely villa and well maintained. I was very impressed as it was even better than we expected. Javier was a fantastic host and was always asking if we needed anything will definitely book again

Stunning place never had such a lovely villa to stay in all the mod cons perfect for our stay in Nerja we had a car so that was no problem with off street parking we will be back

A great stay and an immaculate property. I've rented this villa a number of times now. It's a great location - there aren't many villa with a pool that are easily walkable into town. Javier the host was as helpful as ever

Comfortable beds, fabulous showers, very clean, all the kitchen facilities you need, lots of space, lots of sun beds and outdoor seating options, close to supermarkets, easy parking at villa. Lots of good information in the villa on Nerja and from the owner Javier (restaurants, beaches etc). Like the open plan feel to the ground floor of kitchen, dining and living area. Pool towels a good addition.

NOISE! There is a lot of building work taking place beside the villa so at 8am every weekday until 5pm it felt like we were on a building site, there were workman working on the villa behind this one so we were overlooked. Pool is also not heated so was very cold. There is a basement with a bedroom/living area but we didn’t use this as it was quite dark. I wish we had know in advance of the building works as this really impacted our time at this villa.

The views were amazing and the facilities great. So many beautiful spaces to enjoy this beautiful place. Javier was so helpful and considerate. We would definitely go back. Pool area was great and so good for our grandson who loved the pool. We had a car and a short drive to everywhere. Lidl and aldi were also about 10/15 mins walk for everything you need. Some lovely restaurants nearby.

The villa was really aesthetic clean and nice. It was very spacious and all the facilities were in good condition. The pool was clean and had a Jacuzzi that was really lovely. Overall we had an amazing time there and would definitely recommend it to other people. We will definitely be coming back, as the villa met our expectations and we are very pleased with it.
