Good place to stay. Staff were extremely welcoming.

Cleaners were very good Free coconut water was awesome. Nice. Friendly staff in general. Management was okay although we clashed abit. Filtered water facility.

Balcony? No balustrading. Fatal for kids. Stairs? No balustrading. Fatal for kids. Pool? Freshwater. No chlorine. Not sure what kills bacteria. I used it once in my 8 day stay due to concerns. Doors? Heavy and under designed hinges. Half the doors scrape and get stuck against the flooring. Security door? Didnt work. Had to call management 3 times. Gave up at the end. Wouldnt lock correctly. We ensured we dont leave valuables downstairs and locked our bedrooms doors. Every morning we found dog poo in the front lawn. My kids stepped on it many times. Frustrating. Massages were good. But although the menu included vat tax, management tried to charge me. Cunning and not appreciated. Aircons in the house are unserpowered dow stairs. They have a 2.5kw splittie cooling an area of 60sqm. In australia same unit cools a bedroom. Not comfortable during the day when humidity in bali is scorching. Location is very odd. Everytime i ordered a taxi ride i had to call the driver and give directions.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Aesthetic, clean, fresh villa. Beautiful pool, lovely spacious rooms. The Villa even had a filtered water tap which, if you’ve been to Bali before, you know is invaluable. Rooms were cleaned every morning, fresh juices placed in the fridge for consuming. This was my third time in Bali and one of my favourite villas. Just a 10 minute drive to Batu Balong and the heart of Canguu. Great for a couples holiday or for a group.

There is still some construction happening around the site, building new villas. This was noisy throughout the day. But only a small inconvenience for how beautiful the villa was.

The property was well Located, had a great and relaxing feel and was quiet.

The accomodation was gorgeous, the pool was lovely, the staff were friendly. The location was not hard to get to and was more secluded than most accomodation around Canggu area.

The air-conditioning was not working in my room and it was boiling. It was very uncomfortable, the bathroom smelt pretty bad and the toilet was not bolted down properly. They neglected to tell me that next to my villa there was construction so I had no privacy when I was trying to relax in the pool as the workers were looking straight into my villa. The staff were great at trying to accomodate around the air-conditioning issue, but honestly for the price I paid to stay at Makali Village, I would have expected a much better experience.

Clean, modern and beautiful property

My partner and I loved it here. Had a great vibe, it was relaxing and staff were amazing. The pool was fresh water and bigger than expected. Ample outdoor seating with sun all day. Can't fault it.

I'm a light sleeper but I found the bar fridge a little loud but it didn't effect my partner in the slightest.
