The location is idyllic exactly what my friend and I needed

Would have been nice to get an understanding of activities we could do like a cruise on the Vaal river or maybe access to a pool in the property -

The house is absolutely beautiful, with the perfect view of the Vaal River. Simply stunning with so much attention to detail.

The property was very clean

It was clean, spacious and had all the kitchen appliances and tools we needed. The place looks as good as it does on pictures. The house comes with things like sugar, coffee sachets, salt and pepper. Which were welcomed by us seeing that it’s a self catering accommodation. There was also delicious rusks which were unexpected but appreciated. It’s little things that made us feel at home. The host was friendly and welcoming. We got complimentary milk sachets and when those ran out she brought us more milk at no extra charge. I’d definitely recommend the place and would definitely stay there again.

The host has 2 dogs. One was extremely friendly and excited to see us. But my group and I are not dog people so the dogs made us uncomfortable. The host did keep the dogs away from us when she realised that we were uneasy so it didn’t ruin our stay.

The location was perfect.The house was beautiful. The host very friendly. Really comfortable. Will defiantly be back.

The place needs a bigger fridge that is colder. Mosquito problem, air con or /and ceiling fans required.

The house and surroundings are magnificent. The photos do not do it justice. The host, Winnie, was very friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised to find DSTV Premium, so we didn’t miss the Bokke beat Tonga. The lounge area and furniture is super modern and very comfortable. The view from the veranda is spectacular, especially at sunset over the Vaal. The house is modern and clean with all amenities needed for a short or long stay. We would definitely categorise it as upmarket with beautiful, minimalistic decor. Just perfect. The house is a few meters from the river. The river was calm and almost felt like we were next to a large lake or dam. Plenty of bird life, ducks and the occasional jumping fish.

Although there were more utensils than anyone can need, a steel brush to clean the braai grid would have been nice.
