Anfi Tauro Golf Villa with private heated pool

Family of 2 Adults & 2 Kids. We absolutely loved the Villa. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was perfect. The villa is beautiful and perfectly maintained. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were super comfortable. Aran met us when we arrived and showed us around and where to find everything. He was lovely to deal with. We had a hire car to travel the island but we spent the majority of our time at the pool as the kids loved it. The location was great, we did not use the communal pool but the convenience of having it if the kids wanted to use it was ideal. The shop and restaurant onsite were also fantastic. The shop had everything you could need and the restaurant food and drinks were gorgeous. We have already booked to return next year and we cannot wait.

En general, nos encantó absolutamente todo, el lugar es muy tranquilo y la villa es maravillosa. Quedamos asombrados con la amplitud de los dormitorios, los cuales tienen cada uno su baño independiente y además están ubicados en la misma terraza del tal forma que accedes a ellos de forma independiente a cada uno de ellos. En definitiva hemos disfrutado de una estancia de lujo, digna de repetir

Por decir algo negativo.... se me hizo corta la estancia.

size and cleanliness of villa ,heated pool just the right size the new upgrade to make all 3 bedrooms EnSite was astounding we stayed before upgrade and main bedroom is a fully sized wet room ideal for someone with disabilities ,kitchen had every mod con you could want also ,had very large smart tvs in every bedroom if you like that, and in main lounge area another massive tv and media room, lastly our host aran could not have been more helpful thank you for making our holiday that little bit special ,have already booked again for next year, highly recommended for that extra specal holiday

Everything was PERFECT!

The villa is lovely with a really well equipped kitchen, fantastic bedrooms and bathrooms, and great amenities on site. Aran is a fab host who went out of his way to ensure we settled in well - nothing was too much trouble. Really nice touch having wine, beer, water, juice and milk in the fridge for our arrival!

The only thing I can fault is the pillows! Could do with being firmer, but for someone else they might be ok.... The pool looked a bit grubby after a week of swimming - would be good if this was checked regularly. However, one call to Aran and the pool guys were there to clean and top up the chemicals no problem. Both minor details and absolutely would not stop me from booking again.

- missing air conditioning in the living room - insufficient cleaning immediately upon arrival (unwashed floor, remains of construction material after the recent renovation of the bathrooms) - during 14 days and the owner did not arrange a cleaning service, cleansing arcticles were also missing (after a complaint, he only brought some kind of cleaning agent only for the floor), towels or bed lines were not changed even once during the stay - green (dirty) pool during the stay, which changed colour within 5 minutes after pouring an undisclosed substance and the owner said that we could swim within an hour, but the pool guy told us to wait at least a day, because it is very dangerous for the eyes (if we don´t use swimming goggles). After telling this information to the owner he brought us swim.goggles which were for adults and children 12+ even though the owner knew our son was barely two years old - electricity problem (lights and plugs were not working) - the owner tried to solve this problem, but we had to wait twice for the company to come to try to solve the problem, because they failed the first time - COCKROACHES! I consider it unacceptable to have cockroaches in accommodation of this price category, although I understand that they can occur here during the summer (hot) period. I would understand some kind of preventive solution and not the owner's dismissive attitude to this problem, that if we had a problem with them, we should have bought a spray against them. However, there were so many cockroaches in the villa that they were also in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and our almost two-year-old son had several bites during 14 days. A year ago, we stayed for the same length of time in a competing villa of the same category and in the same price range which was managed by the hotel, where we were extremely satisfied and did not encounter anything similar. For me, the ratio of quality and price is absolutely insufficient!!

Nothing was a perfect villa

Lovely location. Great host. Beautiful pool. Lots of facilities in the complex.

The property has the potential to be amazing with a lovely setting and so many facilities on offer. We felt however that the property in places felt 'tired' and needed some refurbishment (especially the bathroom facilities). The outside seating was lovely but the chair covers were stained. One of the bedrooms smelt strongly of drains and there was a need to fill the water trap of the shower on a daily basis although we didn't use the room. The host did quickly organise for a maintenance person to visit but there didn't seem to be a real solution other than what we were already doing. Personally I'm not sure we could have used that room to sleep in (we didn't need to as we only needed 2 of the 3 bedrooms). The main bedroom is air-conditioned which is great but we found for the size of the room it did not cool very efficiently and we requested fans. To be fair there was a heat wave so this may not usually be an issue! The host was very good and I truly think this place could be 10/10 if there were a few improvements.
