Beachfront House, Valencia, Wifi, Paddle Surf Board, Incredible Views

The house is located right next to the beach and we loved the view of the sea and the gentle sound of the waves. There is a paddle board and beach gear and toys that we could use. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook a family meal. Parking is right next to the house and easily accessible. Mercedes was a wonderful host - she went out of her way to arrange an early check in for us and gave us good tips about the region. She even welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and some treats for the kids.

The area around was a bit dead during the working week. The closest open shop was 20 mins walking.

The house needs some painting and minor repairs.

Very close to the beach, and beautiful views. lovely large property. bedrooms good sizes and the mattresses were comfortable. the washing machine was fantastic and used very easily. good size fridge freezer and oven. Mercedes was helpful, and checked in regularly.

floors dangerous due to raised ceramic tiles and some broken, our youngest tripped over them and the broken ones were sharp. no handrails for exiting the property. No safety gates supplied knowing we had toddlers with us. the boiler kept failing and that meant cold showers. the dishwasher flooded the kitchen so was not useable. the bed frames need upgrading as the mattresses kept sliding off the frames. a little disappointed that we booked from the Friday to ensure we had immediate access to the property Saturday from 10.30am but we arrived before owner on the Saturday and was not prepared for the Friday as expected, so we not only had to wait outside grounds for some time, we also had to wait again while bedrooms were prepared.

This place is close to perfect for a short — arguably reaching perfection for a longer — holiday by the sea. The vacation home has got every single facility you can think of, including an underground private garage, terrific rooms/terraces (at every floor!) with unobstructed, nonpareil sea views, the ad litteram location on the beach, and there was even a paddle surfing kit that I much enjoyed learning to use. Our 5yo daughter adored playing on the beach/ in the sea every single day — she actually woke up earlier than usually just to run to the beach and start building sand castles; this is an ideal location for families with young kids. The house is also well situated geographically, with several natural/ cultural/ gourmet/ etc. main attractions within at most a couple of hours (there is already plenty to see/ experience within a radius of 70 km) reach by car. To add to all that, our hosts were absolutely gracious and ready to help with anything, including with much appreciated insider tips concerning whatever we were interested in within the region; a big thank you to Mercedes, who welcomed us and truly pampered us with top amenities and advice!

The only thing we absolutely hated is that we didn't have time to stay longer...

Cozy place, good spaces and overall a nice atmosphere. Excellent communication with very friendly owner. We were allowed to check in earlier and check out later ♥️

Could use maintenance (shower, one chair and one window broken). Had to pay extra for wood for the fireplace despite the price of the house not being terribly cheap in low season.
