Villa Frida Kahlo

A very nice house away from noisy places (like tourist spots). We had no problems to parking in public parking lot (in front of house). Very good and substantive contact on Whatsapp - we got all information there, how to obtain keys, how to use wifi, apartment and so forth. Inside everything worked as expected, place was clean, AC was fine, kitchen was perfectly prepared to survive from day to day. The washing machine worked. City Telde is quite near, but you need a car (ideally) to get there.

Not a problem, but rather an observation - if you are using bath frequently or long enough, after a while the water does not drain as quickly as it should and may spill out onto the bathroom floor.

Es una casa con mucha tranquilidad y paz. Si buscas retirarte un poco del bullicio está muy bien. La anfitriona te ayuda en todo momento con lo que necesites, responde rápido.

Bei uns ging die Klimaanlage nicht, was hauptsächlich im kleinen Schlafzimmer gestört hat und teils klappern die Fenster / Fensterläden bei starkem Wind

Communication was very smooth. We chatted on Whatsup. I received the key safe code in advance. The place is located above Telde. I definitely recommend that people with cars should choose this place. Easy access to everything on the island. It is in a quiet location. AC worked well. Kitchen is ok. Washing machine worked well.

The property was exactly what we were looking for, a home away from home (but in the sunshine). We hired a car (a must to get to places) which was quick and easy from the airport. The Views were beautiful and there was just a calm feeling about the place. The host is very helpful and accommodating. Would 100% book again.

Nothing, with the Villa, place or host all amazing. But I would recommend anyone booking to also book a hire car, no taxis or deliveries really.

Although the attractive interior and facilities of the villa are fine, as well as the terrace at the back and the little garden at the front, unfortunately our visit was spoilt by many dogs in the neighbourhood barking or yapping from dawn till dusk. Also, the villa was very hard to find, despite using Google Maps, as we arrived in the dark and cold and the street name Calle Grande is not marked anywhere in reality! At the entrance to this street is a large painted sign which says Lomo Salas and that is all. Very confusing. In addition, the owner when called by phone speaks no English. To cap it all, the name on the small front of the villa at number 8 says VILLA LOLY!!! The owner has not troubled to change the sign to VILLA FRIDA KAHLO. She seemed to find that amusing when we commented on WhatsApp. This was all stressful at the end of a long day travelling and then waking each morning to dogs barking or yapping! Lastly, the neighbourhood outside the small development is incredibly scruffy and rundown with the tarmac approach road full of deep potholes.
