The view was amazing!

A great base for exploring Como and the surrounding area. The house and outside area was lovely and spacious and had all the essentials. You never get fed up of the view! Although the bathrooms looked a little tired the showers were great. The wooden staircase and wooden floor upstairs were beautiful and there was plenty of room in the built in wardrobes. The fans in the bedrooms were definitely welcome. A short walk down the paths behind the houses takes you to a reliable bus route and a great little bakery/gelato shop and a mini-mart.

It is great to have a garage, but we did miss the entrance when we first arrived and ended up quite a way away before we could find somewhere to turn round. The kitchen had all the basics, but the hob was a bit tricky to use as the ignition button didn't work - some long matches would have helped. The two sofa beds (one is past its best) are actually in a cellar room (which is not clear in the listing and felt a little odd). Although it smelled a bit musty my teenage son was happy to sleep there as it was much cooler. The information folder could include details about recycling and rubbish collecton - but Guiseppie responded quickly to our question about this.

Loved the view and outdoor entertaining area also big foldback doors let the lovely breeze in at night. Lounge very spacious, Kitchen quite small but it worked well

The basement bedroom smelt musky, no window's we didn't use it but would be a good space for kids. Needs a little love on the outside, but overall we enjoyed our stay there. Need to water the plants.

The property was perfect - a lot larger than we were expecting with spectacular views and great location to bus stops for getting into Como and Bellagio. Torno also in short walking distance with lovely restaurants. The photographs on booking.com don’t do the property justice either - we expected it to look a little tired but it was the perfect blend of Italian style with some modern touches. All the facilities we needed, the kitchen was big - with a great coffee machine too. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group. Terrace area is large and gets lots of sunshine, balcony from master bedrooms also fabulous. Our host was great too, easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. 100% recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location with great view of Lago Como, great waking up experience. Overall a great property with plenty of space and all the facilities required. The host 5 stars.

Just a minor point, the property could do with a bit of a revamp, wooden floors and doors made out of real and expensive wood but has not been maintained over the years. We experienced a few minor issues with the water pipes which the host explained the issues but didn't spoil at all the overall stay.
