Hattapukki - Villa Himpula

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Finnish apartment house. Everything was perfect and flawless from start to finish. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house itself was spotless, very well equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings and the natural environment around the house are simply stunning – a true escape into nature. We can highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Viimeisen päälle hieno ja toimiva mökki! Varustuksesta löytyy kaikki mitä tarvitaan. Vaikka mökki on isäntäväen talon lähellä, siellä voi silti oleskella täysin omassa rauhassa, koska sijainti on hyvin suunniteltu. Terassilta on kaunis näköala järvelle ja laiturilta hyvä mennä uimaan.

Luontopolkua onnistuin löytämään metsästä vain pienen pätkän, vaikka sitä ilmeisesti jatkuu pidemmällekin :) Sinänsä hieno idea myös tuo polku.

This is the best spot to chill out. You'll be with the finest and most welcoming hosts. You'll sleep like a "log" because there is nature, beauty, cleanliness and only birds chirping around. Everything will feel like home and even better. The hosts will always be around and ready to help and will never bother you! You'll be leaving and you'll want to come back right now. We had a truly wonderful stay at this cottage! From the beginning, the host was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything smooth and welcoming. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean, neat, and very well equipped—everything has been thoughtfully prepared with clear instructions for using all the facilities. The heat pump is a great touch—an energy-efficient solution that keeps the place cozy. The sauna was fantastic, fully equipped with everything one could need, and clearly goes beyond just the basics. The hot tub was an amazing experience, especially during the colder months—such a relaxing treat! Just a short 500-meter walk away, there’s a beautiful hut in the forest, which adds to the charm of the location. The outdoor area is very well planned: there are all the essentials for making a fire, boiling water, and barbecuing, and the barbecue area near the beach is perfect, with two long benches creating a cozy and scenic gathering spot. Inside, there’s plenty of entertainment—from group board games and books to an Xbox, making it great for both quiet evenings and fun family time. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway in nature!

Everything was amazing, in our opinion, this is the best house in Finland. There is everything you need for a vacation and even more. In a few days we completely rested and recharged. Special thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and warm attitude.

We stayed for 3 nights at Villa Himpula, an absolutely beautiful and luxurious property that is spotlessly clean and ideally located on the lakefront. It has all the listed amenities, along with a variety of toys and games that we and our kids really enjoyed. The owner has considered every possible way to wow guests. Communication with the owner was prompt and reliable. We had a great stay and highly recommend it. We would love to visit again. Thank you so much! :) :)

I have a few suggestions and requests. There should be slightly more clarity regarding facilities and policies during booking. First, the cleaning fee isn't included in the booking price, and this detail wasn’t available during or after booking. We discovered upon arrival that there is a €100 cleaning fee, or guests must perform a professional-level cleaning themselves. We opted to clean ourselves since it was a short stay, but it was somewhat slightly stressful. Second, while blankets and pillows are included, the information provided is a bit unclear and could be more straightforward.
