Boho Tropical 3BR Villa, Berawa Canggu, Bali

Breakfast was fine. Location super The villa was pristine and well-equipped. Beautiful interior decor and styling. Bed was super comfortable! Great location, very tranquil and tucked away yet still walkable to many great cafes and restaurants. All the staff were super friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome.

It's a walk through an alley to get to the villa. Alley has no lights at night and often littered with dog feces. This also means it's a hassle for pick up and drop off. Villa has alot of mosquitos.

The staff were lovely and so helpful and the decor of the villa was nice, it was clean.

We booked this villa as a family of 4 (a 1 year old and a 4 year old). When we arrived the villa had all of its bedroom doors open and was HEAVING with mosquitos. Right through the bedrooms and living area/ kitchen. The Villa had was a can of spray and 2 coils. We had no option but to sleep in those conditions and my sons got bitten all over their arms, face and ears (they had repellent patches on). I complained and the next morning and the staff booked in a “fogging” which sprayed the rooms and sourced mosquito nets. They offered another fogging later in our stay. The staff tried their very best to help to situation but it seemed to just be the villas layout - the bedrooms doors didn’t properly close so the mosquitos found their way in. Friends of ours also in Canggu at the time did not experience this in their villa. I understand Bali has a lot of mosquitos but this could have been avoided by conducting a spray before we arrived, especially knowing we had 2 young kids. Would I suggest this villa to other families? No. It’s not family friendly due to the layout (outdoor eating area was so hot even with ceiling fans on), tiles on the kitchen and living area were incredibly slippery, and mosquito situation was horrible. I do not believe it’s worth what we paid when comparing to other villas in the area and the 4 past trips we have had to Bali.

This Villa was so beautiful, it is down an alley way and can for the most part be very quiet. But the neighbours do have dogs who do bark but wasn’t too bad. I will say this if your planning on going to places please be mindful the traffic is completely horrible in this area, if you have a family and want a car, if your happy to jump on a scooter I would say it would be a little easier. Also if you do order a gojek we found it very hard for our drivers to find us for some reason, if you need the right location make sure it says “Villa Mesa” we had a few issues on delivery’s and drivers picking us up from the wrong location Otherwise, the beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen and water is filtered so it makes it easier for a family to cook or stay in Thank you for having us, we absolutely loved our stay here

What truly set this villa apart, however, was the outstanding level of service provided by both the host and the villa manager. The host was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any issues or concerns we had during our stay. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort did not go unnoticed. The villa manager, in particular, went above and beyond to make our trip as seamless as possible. Their exceptional hospitality and willingness to assist us with anything we needed truly enhanced our experience. From arranging transportation to recommending local attractions, they were always on hand to help, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, our time at this villa was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of its tranquil location, clean facilities, and attentive staff made for a truly unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Bali.

We liked everything about the property, one minor call out was the wifi. It wasn't as fast as the wifi that you would get at a coworking space. However, the host fixed the wifi for us during our stay and it was much more usable towards the end of our trip.

The space was huge and airy. I had expected it to be hot and humid in the open kitchen/living room but thanks to the powerful fans, we spent a lot of time there in the evenings as well. The pool is the biggest I've been to in Bali. All three bedrooms were perfectly made and cleaned, and the diffuser scents in each room was the cherry on top. The bathrooms were perfect - I usually am very picky with shower facilities, especially if there is hair that clogs the drain or weak shower pressure - this bathroom was perfect, including the sky light and the rocks + elevated tile to stand on. Coming into this space was like a respite from Canggu's chaos. The host and housekeeper were super easy to communicate with through WA. Easy check in and check out. Couldn't have asked for better for my gift to my mother.

It is really rare to find anywhere with silence in Canggu. Here you can hear the motorcycles a little, but much less than in other villas I've been to! Didn't bother me at all, coming from a city.

The property is well furnished, clean and spacious when travelling in groups.

The only downside about this property is that its located right down the alleyway, so drivers or riders aren't aware of how to locate the property properly

Beautiful villa, great location, the interior is well thought through for families (big kitchen / freezer, water boiler, tv with all video apps), beautiful open living room, peaceful surroundings, a cleaner comes every day and the owner and his staff have been very helpful (they helped us with renting a fence to put around the swimming pool and a bigger baby cot).

A little bit of mold in the bathrooms and rusty spots (nothing to be concerned about). Tiles in the living room are slippery when wet (be careful with kids when they come out the swimming pool)

The interior styling, the pool, the size, and of course the staff are all super lovely and most welcoming!

The location is good, but a little far from the beach if you’re on foot.
