Vero Sicily - Villa San Giorgio

Prachtige locatie met heerlijk balkon en veranda. Direct aan het kleine en typisch Italiaanse strand. Mooie tuin en prachtig zwembad. Ruime garage.

Voor zo'n groot huis is de keuken verouderd, te klein en vies. De vaatwasser is veel te klein en werkt niet goed. Keukengereedschap ook matig en vaak niet schoon. De staat van onderhoud van het hele huis is zeer matig. Oud, en vaak verveloos. Badkamers matig, beddengoed eveneens.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. -super old Villa, very humid -too many stairs, not for kids or old people -no AC in living area nor blinds (sun hits hard) -5th room very far from the rest (next to pool, very humid) -no common space for 10 people to sit together comfortably -furniture/appliances super old

Some of the beds feel quite old. With that being said, This would not stop me from staying again!

I have been at this villa with my friends and we spent the best holiday so far! The villa has a fantastic position and from the bedrooms you can admire the gulf and the beautiful sunsets! We ate in the terrace and saw the panoramic sight of the sea every day with different colors. The pool was outstanding and useful for a private relaxation. The village of Terrasini is very cute and restaurants are reachable on foot. We walked very pleasently on the beach that has golden sand! The host was always available and he gave us many info regarding excursions and things to do around!

The villa itself was beautiful and beautifully positioned between the mountains and the sea. Much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Antonio, our contact for our stay was amazing and always on hand to help with anything.

It is a little further from the bigger supermarkets than we expected particularly as we decided not to rent a car. We had some issues with the electricity. Every time we used the oven, the power went off in the whole villa which was very frustrating. The cleaner only came once during our 2 week visit and despite requesting cleaning of the kitchen and other floors, it wasn’t done. Only parts of the bathrooms were cleaned with a change of bedding which was disappointing. I am quite sure that the website states daily housekeeping!!

Location

Our Villa was absolutely terrible. We had issues with ants, issues with air conditioning breaking down in multiple rooms, the wifi was constantly breaking down, the property owner was rude to us when we asked to fix the issues. Then after the property owner saying they would fix the issues, which they did not, they lied to booking.com and told them it was fixed. Once the property owner was told the issues were never fixed, he said I should have never contacted booking.com and I should have contacted the booking agency, referring me to some guy I have never heard of. All of this was told to booking.com agents and they did nothing for me. If it was not my wedding weekend we would have checked out and gone somewhere else.
