Las Palomas Villas

Las Palomas Villas was the ideal set-up and location, with the beach in walking distance and other beautiful beaches a tuk tuk ride away. Clean, spacious and located in a stunning rainforest. Our villa was right next to the pool and we were lucky to have an array of wildlife on our doorstep including a sloth! Ana was the perfect hostess and couldn’t be more helpful with making sure we were comfortable and had local recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this side of Costa Rica. Perfect family vacation with others who stayed with us in the complex of four villas. Each distinctive. Red and White villas a bit more sophisticated in design and layout. Blue and Tórtolas more rustic but just as charming. Nice amenities in a true jungle immersive experience - sloth in tree, howler monkeys, colorful frogs, toucans, saw them all. Comfortable and near fantastic activities and beaches in that Caribe Sur area. Four great beaches and many hiking trails. The White cottage, Aliblanca, is truly handicap accessible, we plan to return soon!

Charming self-catering accommodation in great location just outside PV. We loved the character of our villa, which included a fully insect-screened terrace facing the jungle - very atmospheric. Bedrooms very comfortable. Location great - close enough to PV, but also very easy to reach some of the other restaurants along the road outside PV. I would love to come back and stay again. We stayed 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer - there is plenty to do in the area. I am so glad we decided to visit this region and stay here. Lovely staff working at the reception too.

There was no washing machine available on site, but Ana at reception organised an external laundry service for us. It would be even better if they had their own laundry facilities on site for guests to use.

This is a truly amazing place to stay. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from shops, restaurants and the beach, but still very quiet. There are two national parks close by, and one of the best beaches in Costa Rica, Playa Punta Uva. The garden surrounding the villas is beautiful; the pool has a good size for swimming and is well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and the villa is immaculate and very clean.
