Villa Saimaan Valo

Big rooms and windows. Lots of space to spend time. Very good space for big group of friends or for example 2-3 families. Garage for two cars was really nice extra as it was frosty mornings during the stay. House is near Angry Birds Park and Saimaan Rauha spa (even walkable distance). Commodity for cooking in the house was ok.

One shower was out of use (all thought we didn't need it). Some wall paintings would have been nice and easy way to make space more cosy. :) Filter bags for coffee machine would have been appreciated.

Lovely location near a lake, perfect for swimming. Great outdoor space with BBQ which was great for warm summer evenings. Large car space and garage for bikes. Kitchen fully equipped, very comfy sofa.

The second shower wasn't available - no shower head and a note in Finnish (which we couldn't understand). For 7 adults we were left with one shower. We wouldn't have booked if we knew there were not 2 showers. The rooms were very bare with few bins anywhere. It was very hot and the fans supplied were all damaged/not working. The outdoor space was great but indoors was too small for 7 people in the lounge area.

It was a fantastic holiday. The house is very warm and cozy. The owner of the house, Timo, is always ready to help with any questions. The house is clean, bright, large. There is everything you need for living and recreation. We were there in winter and there were very severe frosts down to -30, but the house was warm and cozy. The places around are fantastically beautiful. And very quiet and calm.
