Villa Redonda II

The pool and view are amazing. The old traditional terracota style of villa looked beautiful outside. The serenity of the area and closeness to resteraunts and shops are perfect.

Only one of the shutters in the whole villa was in working order. The main bedroom which opened onto the pool we could not use as the shutter was down and broken. In the living area, the shutter was up and could not be put down. We knew how to use them as one upstairs did work. All 3 showers were very awkward to use without soaking the entire bathroom floors. You would have to stand at a certain angle it was a chore to have a shower instead of an enjoyment. The bath, originally a jacuzzi was not in working order. Many things in the villa needed updating or fixing, cupboard door in the kitchen, the lights did not always work on the pool in the evening which was a disappointment, especially considering the price. The stairs leading up to the front door should have a rail, especially for older guests, as a safety concern. The pool man was very nice but you never knew what day or time he would arrive, villas we have stayed before, the pool man always came very early in the morning on set days this one would turn up in the middle of the day and you never knew when. A few tiles are broken on and around the pool. Needs a revamp to bring it up to its original worth. We had to swap the mattress from the second bedroom downstairs into the main bedroom as it was very uncomfortable.
