Villa Ayu Legian

The location was brilliant, the hosts were very responsive and the property manager accommodated us with everything we needed and answered all our questions and assisted where possible.

Nothing could have been better, the only negative was the sound coming from a couple of bars at times. However this was not a major issue for us and didn't affect our stay at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Legian! This villa is in an excellent location, so many wonderful places to visit within walking distance or even a short taxi ride! I would totally recommend this place for families or groups of friends- so much space, privacy and the facilities were awesome! The pool is wonderful and it was beautiful and clean too! The villa is very homely and decorated with so much thought and consideration! There are 2 really good massage places less than 30 seconds away, right next to some great coffee and food places too! Shopping is at your finger tips and the beach is only a short walk too! You wont be disappointed, a really great place to stay! :) We didn't want to leave!

There wasn't much that we didn't like, but if I had to pick something, I would say that the stairs may be a bit steep for some people with mobility issues, so keep that in mind if its something you need to consider. The downstairs area is open living, with no air con (the bedrooms are crisp and cool tho!), so if you are the type of person that needs constant cooling, you may find that a bit rough? However, we were always comfortable as the pool is so nice (not too cold, not too hot) and we enjoyed hanging out together in this area. These two things are definitely not deal breakers for us, but I can understand if some people may need to know that information :)

The villa itself was a sanctuary - the pool got lots of sun during the day and the rooms were spacious. They provide water filter machine which is super handy. The location was fantastic - highly recommend La Karma ($20 massages for 1 hours) which is on Jalan Padma Utara street. So many restaurant around. Oh and Bintang Supermarket is a 5 min drive - this is a grocery shop like Woolies which is perfect for staying in a villa. Thank you so much Wayan you were so helpful to us and to Rob & Cathy for your lovely villa.

Lounge room could’ve had an extra couch but otherwise it was perfect in every way.

Green swimming pool. Staff throwing a few drops out of a bottle was not going to fix this. Bird Poo around pool edging. Plastic and cardboard as windows in bedrooms. Makes going to sleep impossible when live music is blaring through the windows. Glass would be a simple fix? Bedroom smelling like mould. Staff coming in final day at 9am to start cleaning when check out was 11am. Photos and write up is impressive but for what we got was overpriced and disappointed.

The owner of the Villa, Rob was responsive via message, and the manager of the unit Mr Wayan was very accomadative. For the price you get 3 rooms, 2 rooms at the 2nd level, and 1 room at the 1st level which is easy access for those travelling with elderly. Unit has a quite a decent size pool. Property are nearby pubs, howevers noise settles down by 11pm.
